This is my 4th Acura with Stu Fogler. He has ALWAYS been fabulous. He has taken the time over the years to really get to know my family and always looks out for our crazy particular needs. He absolutly has never failed to find us the perfect car with everything I want in it at the right price. We love our Acuras but it has been an amazingly easy friendly process everytime we have been ready for a new car... and that is not easy because we are very annoying and demanding. I must also say that I particularly LOVE my new 2014 MDX. I will conclude to say that Stu is a great person to work with and my husband and I feel we made a friend over all these transactions. I also traded in a 2006 mdx and Dave gave me an accurate price over the phone (which turned out to be the exact price that my car was valued out in trade). I wanted a blue one and Dave told me one would be coming in shortly., but that there was a tech with entertainment on the lot. I came to the dealership on the only day I was available, which happened to be Dave's day off. Stu helped me directly and was awesome - very knowledgeable and gave me the entertainment one in blue for just a little bit more than the other one, so I didn't have to wait and was able to drive off in the new car in about 2 hours. Stu was also a great guy and happened to be someone that made the whole thing very enjoyable - with straight forward pricing without wasting a lot if my time. JBin finance was great too - didn't try to sell me useless things, but was informative and straightforward about items that made sense for me. I bought a car here aBout 10 years ago and was very happy I decided to return. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this team to my friends. I feel I was treated very fairly and the whole process was very pleasant. Everyone was very friendly, considerate, and fair. Literally everyone; even the receptionist. The dealership was very clean and family oriented. Rafael, our sales rep, was very personable and I would definitely work with him again if we needed any assistance. Fred, in finance, was excellent; Great guy! We were able to work together to come up with a deal that made everyone happy. It was obvious that our business and happiness was priority. To be frank we were treated like human beings and not like " a commission. " I've worked in sales and customer service, many years ago, so I completely understand the need to seal the deal. I also know that you want repeat business and a good reputation. Rafael and Fred earned both. I give them both rave reviews and if we ever needed to make another purchase in the future this dealership will be our first stop. We came to this dealership after a very negative experience at another local dealership. The sales rep that attempted to help us had the personality of a rock and we were spoken down to, which I truly resented. My husband is a mechanic, he used to work for Ford, and has been with UPS for eighteen years as a package truck and tractor mechanic. I have two BA's in social work and social services and I work within the West Milford school district substitute teaching while I wait for an opening on the child study team. One of my biggest pet peeves is being patronized. We were treated like we were idiots, so they lost the sale and our respect. When I found the Honda Pilot on-line and Rafael contacted me he came across as being really outgoing and seemed like someone I would like to work with. He even offered to come in on his day off to meet with us. I had foot surgery, a week & a half ago, so unfortunately I have no choice but to depend on my husband and work around his work schedule. Rafael was extremely understanding and supportive of our situation. That was impressive! He was willing to work around our schedule due to my foot and the fact that we have two kids. That alone, in my opinion, is going above and beyond. I sincerely mean everyone word. If I didn't I wouldn't say it. I told the gentlemen at the other dealership that they lost our business because of how poorly we were treated. I'm honest and I have no issue speaking my mind. My comments are genuine and I appreciate everything Rafael and Fred did for us. I have already stated on my Facebook page what a great experience we had at Acura of Ramsey. Thank you for treating people like people. In this world today nine times out of ten its darn near impossible to get a person on the phone, let alone find someone who actually cares. Technology is great, it certainly makes life easier but on the flip side it's taken away that personal touch that I still appreciate. We love our new, new to us, truck! Thank you.
