We visited several dealerships, trying to find just the "right" vehicle to meet our needs. Almost everyone was friendly and fairly helpful, but no one as much as Gordon Kirkwood . I purchase a 2012 TSX on Mar.19th . I am very please with my car i had been looking at the Acura for three years. While in the process of rebuilding credit, it can be mortifying to attempt a car purchase. But, Kile Taylor was not at all pushy, but very attentive! He was polite & didn't treat me like a "girl"! I give Acura of Memphis a A.... Mr. Ed Lewis, Used Car Sales Manager was a nightmare. He has a big problem with providing quality customer service. I made a big mistake purchasing my dream vehicle from this dealership. I was quoted one pr has a big problem with providing quality customer service. I made a big mistake purchasing my dream vehicle from this dealership. I was quoted one price but when I got to the Finance Manager, it was something totally different. I was told I could bring my the car back for small repairs and that the dealership agreed to do them. This was all prior to me signing the paperwork to finalize the deal. After,, I signed I was treated like an idiot. The "NO Warranty AS IS STICKERS were left on the car, the car was dirty, the bumper was bent, the driver seat was damaged. These were repairs that Mr. Lewis agreed to repair, but I had to bring the car back. When I brought my car in for the repairs, the Service Department had no record of my supposedly scheduled appointment. I purchased the car Sat. July 30, 2011, I informed the sales associate that I would bring the car back on Friday, August 5. When I arrived there was no record of my appointment and I was told that Mr. Lewis would call me. After waiting patiently for a call while at work during the day, he did not call. I called him and he told me that the sales associate forgot to inform the Service Dept. of my appointment. I explained to him how they had inconvenient me during my work day. He told me they could get to my car, probably on Monday. I asked him if I could get a loaner's car for the weekend so that I did not have to get someone to drop me off again and pick me up from work. I was told by Mr. Lewis that he could not have a used car that he had just sold setting on his car lot over the weekend. HE was overall just RUDE. I told him I would write to his manager because his behavior was just unacceptable. He asked me to tell his manager what a wonderful job he was doing. I told him I do not lie for anyone. When I picked my car up after it sat at the dealership all day, I spoke with another manager in the Used Car Repair Department, I believe his name was Ahman He offered me a loaner car. I left my car at the dealership on Monday and I was called on Tuesday, to inform me that the car was ready for pickup. I was told that car was clean and that the repairs had been completed. When I arrived the car was still dirty and no repairs. I was asked to give them another day. When I picked the car up the following day, MILES were put on the car, most of gas were out, and still no repairs. At this point, I refuse to go back to the dealership because Management do not own up to what they say they would do. I decided to have the car detailed clean, and to get someone else to do the small repairs. I have 7 years to pay for this car and I'm afraid that when I really need this dealership to do anything else that I would need to seek an attorney. I would prefer walking instead of purchasing another car from this dealership. BAD EXPERIENCE! More
The dealership had called me several times wanting to buy my Acura TL which I had originally bought from them in 2006 so I decided to take it in. Waste of time they offerred me at the best $16000 Carmax eve my Acura TL which I had originally bought from them in 2006 so I decided to take it in. Waste of time they offerred me at the best $16000 Carmax even did better @ $17000. Anyone that is thinking of trading a car might want to think twice about it at tbis dealership. More
