We are very pleased with our purchase of our new RDX and especially enjoyed working with Greg Nelson. We are careful shoppers and he was patient with each visit (we took a few weeks to decide). Acura of Jackson has by far the best service team in the state!! I have now owned (3) Acuras and its all because of the Service that I receive over and over from Team-Jackson. I also have the advantage of being affiliated with Mercedes Benz and the "quality" of service "after the sale" in absolutely UNMEASURED by Acura vs Mercedes!! My main driving force is Rick Lenzi!! Rick is the very BEST--his undying consideration to his customers is again--UNMEASURED!! I can enjoy my Acura with ease because I know I have the support of Rick in service!! I live 2.5 hours from Jackson. In late summer of 2011 I brought my 2007 RDX to Acura of Jackson because my A/C would stop working intermittently (3 times a week at-least). They replaced the A/C relay switc brought my 2007 RDX to Acura of Jackson because my A/C would stop working intermittently (3 times a week at-least). They replaced the A/C relay switch, hoping to fix the problem. It did not. In summer of 2012 I brought the car back to them. They could not diagnose the problem because the A/C would not stop working for them (They kept the car for 1 day). In July 2012 I brought it back to them because It quit working while I was in Jackson (100 degree weather). They kept the car for two days. They could not diagnose it yet again. In November 2012 there was a Warranty extension released for the 2007 acura RDX A/C compressor clutch that explained my problem in detail. This warranty extension was for up to 100000 miles. I did not receive the Notice from Acura until January 16th, 2013 (nearly 3 months after its release). At this time, I had 104000 miles on my car. I immediately called Rick Lenzi at Acura of Jackson (my previous service rep). After explaining to him my previous attempts to fix the A/C, Rick Lenzi (Being extremely rude) tells me that the A/C compressor clutch replacement will not be covered under warranty and that he can't help with the warranty issue. I spoke with Barry Baker (Service Director) and he also told me nothing could be done. I then contacted Brent Mitchell (District Case Manager in California) and he tells me that they will only cover 10% because I haven't owned any previous Acura or Honda vehicles, I am not the original owner of the car, and I do not take my car to Acura for regular maintenance (Yes, he really said this) (In other words, I'm not a valuable customer). The total cost of the repair was around $600 before the 10% discount. I feel that this should be covered completely under the warranty and I believe 99% of the world would agree. I have contacted the MS attorney generals office customer relations division and the Better Business Bureau. More
We drove 8 vehicles when looking for a new vehicle. The salesmen here were by far the most knowledgeable about their product and treated us with respect. If they didn't know the answer to our question, which was rare, they made it a point to find out. They were also not pushy and gave us time to think it through. The Acura team at North Jackson Acura was hands down the friendliest and most professional out of all the dealerships I visited, and I visited quite a few of them during my car shopping effort. Chris was very knowledgable of the ins and outs of all the Acura models. He really sold my wife on the safety features (and let's be honest, my wife makes all the important decisions). Tim worked hard to get us a deal we could manage and made the experience a pleasurable one. Alan was very friendly and hospitable, even staying late on Saturday so we could take the car home with us that day. My hats off to everyone involved. The whole team did a tremendous job and deserves a pat on the back because we were not seriously considering purchasing an Acura before their involvement. More
