Had service on my RDX today and wish to express that the service I received from Paul Furtado was outstanding . Be very careful when you go to get services done at this dealership. They are double charging you if you have a lifetime oil change service purchased with your car and agree to do a "Schedule A" maintenance dealership. Look at your invoice and you will see that they are charging you for the same oil change service you already paid for. I would look back at your older service invoices and you will see it there as well. Don't take my word for it and take a closer look at your charges. Be aware...there is one service advisor who has been ripping me off for the last several years! Even after bringing this issue to management's attention, they refused to credit me back. The service manager lacks basic math skills and common sense and tried to explain that I wasnt charged twice even though it is blatantly obvious by looking at the invoice. I will no longer buy another car or any servicing from Acura of Honolulu/Lithia, after buying 3 cars there and spending thousands of dollars on maintenance in the last 10+ years...they will never get another penny from me. It is disappointing that the new general manager does not foster positive customer experiences, otherwise he would have resolved this in December when I first brought this to his attention. There were other shady things this dealership/service advisor was pulling but I won't go there. Just don't be as trusting as I was. Look over your invoice carefully and make sure you ask questions on what you are being charged for and don't sign anything that is not accurate on the invoice. Lesson learned!!! I hope this helps the next person not fall victim to this type of unethical business practice. More
Service department had my car for four months. Could not accurately diagnose or fix the problem. Finally the warranty company sent a representative who diagnosed the problem. Finally after 4 months the car was fixed for $4800 dollars and now a month later it is broken with the same problem and Gabe the service manager at Acura will not warranty the work they did and says I have to pay all over again for diagnostics and service. This just isn’t right. This is absolutely the worst service department I have ever been to. And my car is still broken. And Gabe is the most unreasonable service rep that I have ever dealt with. More
