The worst dealership to have your MDX or any other car service there, specially on the Saturday, appointment means nothing, ask you to sit in my car after 40 minutes walked in and asked if they take my ca service there, specially on the Saturday, appointment means nothing, ask you to sit in my car after 40 minutes walked in and asked if they take my car now with the appointment I made 2 weeks ago for oil change and tire rotation how long is it going to be before I get t back, 6 hours! Thanks no thanks , I made an appointment with Putnam Acura ASAP. Very unhappy buyer of MDX and former service client. Never again. More
I am writing this to share my recent experience, dissatisfaction and dishonesty with the recent service and the workers I received at Fremont Acura service center from Oct - Dec 2023. I brought my c dissatisfaction and dishonesty with the recent service and the workers I received at Fremont Acura service center from Oct - Dec 2023. I brought my car in for two specific issues manifested multiple times. Here are the concerns: 1) Driver's seat repair: After the initial service, the seat repair turned out to be faulty, and additional parts needed to be replaced which their mechanics broke leading me several follow ups. This took a significant amount of time to resolve, causing inconvenience. 2) Wheel alignment: Following the wheel replacement there at the same service center, my car began veering to the right. The service center did not identify this issue during their test drive and more importantly lied that the alignment was perfect and infact the veering experience is due to crowning of the roads (a demonstration of their poor knowledge and incompetence). A subsequent visit to a local Firestone confirmed the alignment was incorrect and corrected the problem. When sharing the Firestone report the advisor Mike threatened me using disparaging language. 3) Customer service: When I brought these issues to the service center for attention and provided evidence of the misalignment, I did not receive a satisfactory response. I felt threatened and unwelcome when I was asked to leave the premises. I am disappointed with the overall experience and the lack of resolution provided. I would caution everyone to be mindful of big expenses and the integrity of their business practices at this server center. The business practices of the advisors clearly don't aim to retain or bring sustainable clients rather their arrogant attitude of take it or leave it is detrimental for business. More
I highly encourage people to avoid Acura of Fremont dealership. Both the sales and service departments of Acura Of Fremont have demonstrated consistent incompetency and potentially even fraud. My adventure started when we purchased 2022 MDX w/Advance Package. - After spending the ~3 hours of signing all the documents and trying to up sell on various service packages (some seemed absolutely bogus), went home to wait 6 weeks for the vehicle to arrive (Oct 2021). 6 weeks later, told the vehicle was ready for pick up. Arrived onsite and told that all the paper work that had been filled out previously needed to be redone as the company used the wrong VIN. So another 2 hours and more up sell! After all that, you would have thought, okay let's go home, but nope, accessories that I had requested had not been installed, but worse, the car had not even been unwrapped after delivery! Another two hours of waiting (and hearing people yell obscenities at each other in the service and sales area), the car was made ready with the exception that the tailer hitch which was purchased with the vehicle 6 weeks prior, was missing a part (kick sensor) and could not be installed. At least I can take the vehicle. But alas, the first day ownership was still going south - received a call from the sales person and told that the mats were not completely installed and some of the mats in the vehicle needed to be returned, they were for a different customer! So yet another visit to the dealer. Roll forward 3 months, called the dealer requesting status of the trailer hitch, told it was ready and to bring the vehicle in to install. Arrived and waited 3 hours to be told that it could not be installed, it was missing a part, the same part that was missing 3 months previous. Another 3 hours wasted. Fast forward to Oct 2022 and the 1 year/10K service interval. Show up for the A12 service (no idea but was told it was this service) and asked if the trailer hitch was ready to install. Told it would be installed along with the service. 5 hours later, told, no the trailer hitch can't be installed as its still missing the same component as the previous two attempts. So another couple hours wasted! Drove the car home and noticed that the tires didn't appear to have been rotated. I know this because the one 'curbed' wheel was still on the same quarter of the vehicle. I then checked the cabin air filter and it too was not new (clearly dirty). I checked under the hood to see if the oil filter had been replaced, and definitely don't believe it was. So although invoice showed they did all these things, I am pretty confident that's not accurate. I then called and complained to service. Service person assured me that this will be brought up to the service manager and expect a call to reschedule the car to come in. However, two days later and yet another call to the dealer, I have yet to hear back from Acura Of Fremont. The management has been silent. At this point I went to a different dealer and had them do the 1 year/10K service costing me $415 that should have already been done! More

Absolutely impossible to reach the finance department over the phone. Nobody picks up or returns calls. I left them voice messages - no luck. Wrote an email - no answer. I bought a car with a bumper to b over the phone. Nobody picks up or returns calls. I left them voice messages - no luck. Wrote an email - no answer. I bought a car with a bumper to bumper insurance. Then had trouble canceling it with them. After the cancelation of contract they were supposed to return the money to the lender. 2 months passed. They didn't. And looks like I'll have to spend my time again to come to them in person and ask xxx, cause they don't pick up a phone. More

The more I think about how my parents were treated by a sales manager at the Fremont Acura, the less I want to do with what Acura represents. If the sales manager wanted to give a great price, we need to figure out a better way of communicating this that doesn't end in an argument with the clientele. Considering this was the interaction we received at the start, I don't want my parents enduring this later down the road, when or if they'll become an Acura customer More
