If you are thinking of purchasing/leasing an Acura, you must request to work with Kyle. Think of every adjective associated with car salesmen- slimy, slick, untrustworthy, wears strange pinky rings etc. must request to work with Kyle. He is as honest and reasonable as they come and will work with you to get you the best deals. He is not pushy and does not rush you into making any decisions. You can tell that he truly loves Acuras and is selling a product that he actually believes in. My father and I were looking to lease two cars (one Toyota and one Acura) since Frankenstorm Sandy flooded our cars. We assumed that we we would work with two different sales people. This was not the case. My dad (who is disabled) and I never left Acura while Kyle took care of the Toyota deal since we already knew what we wanted. When I heard of a deal at Bay Ridge Toyota, Kyle marched over to Toyota and matched that price. Not only was this helpful because of our need for wheels, but because it made it exponentially easier for my father to not travel back and forth between buildings. Additionally, Kyle shepherded us through the process and even stayed an additional two hours after Acura closed while we completed Toyota paperwork. As for the Acura, he got us a loaded car for a very affordable monthly installment because our original choice became unavailable. You could not ask us for better service. I bought a new 2012 Acura TSX Special Edition from this dealer. The car was delivered to me at almost 9:00pm at night. I told the sales person I could pick up the car tomorrow morning but he insisted on th dealer. The car was delivered to me at almost 9:00pm at night. I told the sales person I could pick up the car tomorrow morning but he insisted on the same night I paid for it. The car was delivered at night in the middle of the street with cars passing by. He did not give me an opportunity to inspect the car, just told me to get in and let him teach me how to use it. This is not how you deliver a new car, not in the street, not at night. When I bought my new Lexus RX350, they had the car a room where new cars are given to customers, they tell you the inspect the car prior to getting in for the tutorial. Upon not feeling safe in the street, I turned down the tutorial and decided to go home. The following day after coming home from work, I noticed two dents and scratches on my rear bumper. My first thought was that someone at work bumped into me in the parking lot. The next day I looked at all the security footage from work for Thursday. I could not see any car bumping into mine. I then decided to go out to the parking lot and measure the damage of my car and see if it would match up with anyone's car bumper. I could not find any. I have a private driveway at home so it was not parked in the street. I only drive this car to and from work. The only possible way it could have been damage now was that it was delivered to me in this state. I called them back and they claim that they go through an inspection and multiple people sign off on this. But I was never given the chance to even inspect the car. The dealership did contact me and still claims that the damage was not their fault after the fact that the car is delivered. They told me to bring the car in and they would estimate the damage cost but not cover it however for my troubles they will give me a free oil change. An oil change for a new car, why would I need that? Do you put used oil in new cars too, so they come back and give you more business? I do not recommend this dealer to anyone at all. The sales person was extremely rude and cocky. He acted like he was always right and I was always wrong. In the end, I don't mind the damage, it was minor and it's the bumper it will be damaged eventually. I am more upset about the delivery process and the treatment I was given. Acura is a great car but I would suggest getting it from another dealership. You might even get better service from a used car dealership. More
By far the best carbuying experience I've ever gone through. From the moment my wife and I walked in, we were treated well. The sales person (Neal Elder) *helped* us - as opposed to giving us the high through. From the moment my wife and I walked in, we were treated well. Then when we got to the finance manager (Asad Basha), I thought "UH OH, here's where the pressure will come in" --- but not at all... Asad was the epitome of professionalism and courtesy. He was wonderful to deal with, a real gentleman to me and my wife, and also very patient in explaining to us all of our options. Thanks to Neal and Asad, we walked out with a great price, and a dealership that we will call home for years to come. More

To start things off, my name is Ashley, I'm 20 years old, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Acura ILX. On September 12th 2012, I decided to go car shopping with plans on leasing a new car. Now, To be honest wi and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Acura ILX. On September 12th 2012, I decided to go car shopping with plans on leasing a new car. Now, To be honest with you I wasn't to sure what I wanted in a car, I just wanted something that didn't require me having to spend an arm and a leg on gas. My car at the time was a '99 Toyota Corolla, I was kind of leaning towards getting a new Toyota or Honda but didn't really like how they looked. Around 6pm that same day my girlfriends and I decided to stop by the auto mall on Nostrand. While walking up the block headed toward Honda a salesperson stopped us and asked if we were looking to buy a car. We told him yes, he then introduced himself to us as Neal and told us that he'd show us around. Neal first lead us inside of the Acura show room, I told him that I came to look for a Honda and wasn't very familiar with Acura. He explained to me that Honda made Acura and showed me the Acura ILX. I fell in love with the ILX, but Neal insisted on taking me to the Honda, Hyundai and Toyota showrooms just so I can get a feel of the other cars. After showing us around, Neal sat us down at his desk ( while the lovely greeters offered us bottles of water) and was able to answer all of my questions I had about becoming a Lessee. I told him that I'd go home to think about it and be back. About 2 days later I went back to the dealership to take a second look at the Acura ILX, This time Neal wasn't there so Rexdie assisted me a little and introduced me to Asad. I explained to Asad and Rexdie that I stopped by about two days prior and wanted the Acura ILX Neal showed me. Right away Rexdie took me on a test drive. When I came back from the test drive, I told Asad that I wanted to do a one pay lease because I didn't want to worry about monthly payments. He was able to do a credit check on me and informed me that I needed my mother to sign the contract as well. On September 18th I went back to the dealership, this time with my mother. Asad thoroughly explained to my mother, who was iffy about co-signing, and I the terms & conditions of the leasing contract. He also gave us the suggestion of not doing a one pay lease but to open up another bank account to keep my money in and schedule it to send payments monthly. Asad told me that doing that would be a better way to help shoot up my credit score. After deciding to do what Asad suggested, I immediately gave him a deposit for the ILX. The next day, I came back with my mother to finish signing the papers needed and to pick up my new car. I was so excited, my car was clean with a full gas tank. Before I drove off, Neal helped me set up the bluetooth, personalize the sound system and showed me how to use the other features in my new car. Overall, My experience at Acura of Brooklyn was great. At first I was scared that no one would take me seriously but they were all so nice. No one there made me feel uncomfortable. Everyone introduced themselves to me and whenever I came back they would wave and say hello. I would definitely recommend Acura of Brooklyn to anyone interested in buying a car.
