I recently purchased a 2014 MDX from Acura Turnersville and Jay & Andrew were great to work with. They were very helpful in getting exactly what I was looking for (I wanted the Silver Moon color so it had and Jay & Andrew were great to work with. We also wanted to add some accessories and they made sure they were installed before we took delivery of the car. They made the car buying process very easy. Everyone was very helpful & very nice. Jay took the time to walk thru the features of the car & that was very helpful! Andrew was very nice & made sure we knew what was happening every step of the way! I called Acura of Turnersville one day to speak with someone in regards to a car and my price range. Rashid answered very polite and friendly and told me to come take a look at a few cars. He greeted me with a strong hand shake and a great smile. He worked with me to get me in a car I loved. He also stayed with me until all the paperwork was complete and I was on my way. I purchased a 2007 Acura RDX (tech package) in November of 2010 at your dealership. I went to Boardwalk Acura in Egg Harbor Township last night to look at another car. When they valued my 2007 RDX, they ra of 2010 at your dealership. I went to Boardwalk Acura in Egg Harbor Township last night to look at another car. When they valued my 2007 RDX, they ran the Carfax. It was to my surprise and my husbands that it had been in an accident in September of 2010, before I even purchased the car. Apparently, the airbags were deployed also. I do not know how you run your business, but selling a “Certified Pre-Owned Acura” to a customer without telling the truth about the car is unethical and illegal. I work at a law firm and I will look into my legal remedies as soon as possible. More
My wife was interested in looking at / driving the 2014 RDX to replace her Lexus RX 350. I have a 2006 Acura RSX and I really love the car and Acura of Turnersville has been absolutely GREAT. I still take my car back for all the service work - which I have never done with any other car I've owned! So Saturday afternoon we went to look at the 2014 RDX, wanting to avoid the pressure of "Sign Here" or "This thing will do everything but butter your toast in the morning and wash your dishes at night." The showroom was crazy crowded - a perfect time to just browse and compare without being tackled. We looked at, sat in and compared the different RDX models and were approached by Bob who asked if he could assist us. No pressure, just asking if we needed help. I felt less defensive already. Bob answered our questions, and we told him that we'd like to take a test drive - but not just on their on-property test track - we wanted to go out on to the highway. Bob asked what features we'd like in the test car and he went to pull this model up. Bob explained that we would start out on the test track but then we could certainly hit the streets for some real world driving. Bob continued to answer our questions; never put any pressure or sales speak into the conversation and when I asked a few questions that were pretty obscure, he didn't try to snow me - he went and found out (like what's the distance for the factory remote start to work). We actually tested 3 cars, and decided to buy the AWD / Tech Package equipped model. As we wanted the Acura remote start and it was already late, we agreed to leave the Lexus, take a 2013 RDX "loaner" and pick our new RDX on Monday, after the remote was installed and the car was detailed. What made the deal: No disrespect to Bob as he is great, is the last 6 and a half years of OUTSTANDING Service I have gotten on my 2006 RSX. I didn't buy any extended warranty when I bough the RSX - come on, it's an Acura - but the Service Team has always treated me as if I am family. The Service Writer / Adviser (usually John) is always helpful and full of information; the mechanics that work on my car explain and show me if there is a problem (which, after 6+ years, has been brake pad replacements last year). Oil changes and scheduled service is done quickly and the price is always fair and reasonable. As far as the Salesman - Bob was great. He was engaging, informative and really fun to speak with. As I said - and keep saying - there was never any sense of pressure, no up-selling to something that we didn't want, and no rushing us. As Bob started working with us, he was also working with another couple on a sales - but we never felt neglected or uncared for. His knowledge was outstanding; his honesty was much appreciated and I feel like if I met Bob anywhere else in life, we'd have a great conversation! This was a wonderful sales experience. I cannot say enough good about Acura of Turnersville and our great experience there. And, if you are wondering, no I don't work there; I have no financial interest (outside of buying 2 cars there) in the dealership; and I'm NOT Roger Penske posting as just "another satisfied customer."
