But my review is directly to the agent and support staff at Lake Elsinore Ford. My initial contact was by internet and after a simple credit application my connection was made and after a few signatures the new car was delivered to my home. The whole process took 3 hours. If your slammed with time like me I strongly recommend this dealership. Straight talk, to the point and no upsell or drama. I have 3 new car purchases in 2018 scheduled and I’m confident with the service I just received will be served again. More

False Representation of Patriot Act Last November 2016, I purchased a 2015 Town and Country Mini-van. I purchased with a personal check and $3,000 in cash. I did not finance with the d Last November 2016, I purchased a 2015 Town and Country Mini-van. I purchased with a personal check and $3,000 in cash. I did not finance with the dealership, though they attempted to have me cancel with the company had borrowed the money with. I told them no, it didn't make sense. Besides I received a 1.74% rate and that they could not better this rate. The next day when I went to finalize the purchase, I was then told by the sales person and sales manager my social security number was required to verify my identity per the Patriot Act requirements. This was witness by my boyfriend. I explained to both these employees I do not want my credit hit nor was I giving them permission to review my credit report other than to verify my identity. I was reassured this would only result in a soft inquiry (hit) on my credit report. This was not the case. All three CRA list NCC/Lake Elsinore as a hard inquiry (hit). On April 11, 2017, I called the dealership and was transferred to Georgina the Finance Director, I left a voice message, she has yet to respond. I wrote a letter mail by certified/return receipt. This morning 4/20/17 I received a prompt call from Cindy who said Georgina is out of the office and that she pulled my file and would give to Georgina when she returned. There are two ways to identify a person. A hard inquiry takes place when you apply for a mortgage, loan, or car loan. A soft inquiry is an inquiry that occurs when a person or company checks your credit report as a background check, like when you check your credit score, employer, rent an apartment or a mortgage lender pre-approves you for a loan. This type of soft inquiry does not affect your credit worthiness. I recently opened a bank account and credit card with SDCCU. I was told the same thing about the Patriot Act. I asked the same question, will this be a hard or soft inquiry (hit); I was told no, it will be a soft inquiry and it was. Lake Elsinore Ford does not and will not have your best interest, only their bottom line, especially when you do not finance through them. More
