Speedy and pleasant experience! Came in for an oil change on a busy Friday. I knew it would be awhile, but Max was very attentive and had the service completed way ahead of schedule. Since I had to wait for my car, he ensured me that they would complete the service as quickly as possible. All work was completed in a satisfactory manner with the exception of the wash job. I know the wash is complimentary but the lower parts of the car and car mats were left dirty. My prior experiences regarding the wash were much better . For that reason, I will give Browning 4 stars rather than 5 for quality of work performed. But all in all, I will return to Browning for my future service needs. Max is a keeper. More
Browning is not to be trusted (FRAUD)! On December 6, 2015 I purchased a 2012 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with 25k miles on it. It was sold as a CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle; however, I don't think it On December 6, 2015 I purchased a 2012 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with 25k miles on it. It was sold as a CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle; however, I don't think it was ever inspected by any mechanic or employee. The first indicator should have been the carpet and seats that looked like they were quickly vacuumed in the dark along with the dirty residue left on the windows. The second indicator should have been having to go back the next day because the Owner's Manual was missing despite it having been checked off on the inspection sheet as being in the truck. Several days later I went back again because I was missing my copy of the Car Fax and while I was there I mentioned that the smoke smell in the cab was absolutely horrible so Mike Hines (a great guy) had it deodorized by an outside professional detailer who used a chemical fogger and he also ordered a new cab air filter to be put in. Unfortunately, the chemical deodorizer, all be it a better smell than the smoke, has left an odd soapy smell in the cab. The smell is dissipating very slowly by keeping all the windows down but they obviously put in the new cab air filter before doing the deodorizer which makes no sense because the odd soapy smell is now overpowering when the air is turned on. I now have to buy another new cab air filter with the hope the smell eventually goes away all together. Then three weeks later I took it back in for numerous issues and concerns. #1 the check engine light came on and I was told it could be the gas cap is loose. In fact it turned out to me a the detector-evaporator system and vapor canister seal that were replaced. #2 there was a ticking noise coming from the driver's side engine compartment that turned out to be broken bolts on the exhaust manifold which they replaced. Further research on my own discovered it is a known issue yet they did not catch it while CERTIFYING the truck and they did not replace the manifold on the passenger side which will eventually have broken bolts too. #3 the jack and lug nut key were missing (both were also signed off as being in the truck on the inspection sheet). #4 the rear view mirror housing was loose and needed tightening. There were other concerns that they ended up telling me were nothing, normal or they could not duplicate. I spoke to the GSM, Steve Photopulos, who apologized saying they're human and mistakes are sometimes made while also assuring me that if I wasn't satisfied after service went over all my issues that we could discuss other options to make sure I am happy. His words verbatim. As if that all wasn't enough, a week earlier I installed brand new chrome side step bars on the truck and when I picked up the truck from service the side steps were trashed. What I was told was how do they know they weren't that way when I dropped the truck off. Unbelievable! I left and contacted the company I purchased them from, sent them pictures, and luckily they sent me new bars free of charge. That is what I call customer service. Not being comfortable with this CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle I emailed the GSM, Steve Photopulos, at the email on his business card to discuss the other options he mentioned. In the email I asked about them possibly taking this truck back and getting me into a different truck and that I would be willing to finance the difference. I sent the email on January 2nd and I have never received a reply. Even a reply saying that is not possible would be the courteous and professional thing to do but I have gotten no reply. In hindsight I wish I would have paid the $250 for the 30 day cooling off period because I would have turned this truck back in. Browning Dodge in Norco is not a dealer to be trusted and their claims of a CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle is FRAUD! On 1/21/16, the day after posting my review on Yelp, I got a phone call from a GSM, Chris Muller, I was at work and could not talk and told him I'd call him back. I was hesitant to call back because I knew I would probably just end up getting mad and angry so I decided to wait. A day or two passed and I started to get phone calls from GSM, Steve Photopolus, again I did not call him back because I had my son and did not want to ruin our weekend together dealing with this situation so I waited till Sunday around 3:00 and then I called Steve back. I got his voicemail and left a lengthy message on what I would like Browning to do to make this right and I never received another phone call back and figured I'll just need to do what I need to do to sell this truck privately. On 1/30/16, I went to replace the cab air filter with yet another new one to try and help with the smell left by the deodorizer. I removed the glove box and could not see where the cab air filter was so I looked it up on You Tube. I looked under the dash again and realized that there was no cab air filter installed and the cover for it was missing all together so how did they replace it before. UNBELIEVABLE and FRAUD! I called Steve Photopolus and he answered. I told him about the missing cab air filter and cover. He told me not to bring the truck down till he could confirm the parts were available. I also told him I wanted Browning to buy the truck back due to all the continuing issues. He said he would talk to (forget the name) on Monday and call me with a price. I've never gotten a call back for the parts or the price. I'd also like to add that I traded in my recently deceased Father's single cab truck for this quad cab that was better for me and my 6 year old son. I requested to keep the truck tool box my father had put in the bed and I was told I could not keep it because it was screwed to the bed rails which I understood. However, this is just another example of how Browning has lied and done me wrong because my Father's truck is right now on their lot for sale and the tool box is not in the bed of the truck anymore. So was it just thrown away or did an employee take it for themselves? Thanks Browning for taking away something I could have had and should have had that was my Fathers and meant something to me. Browning has no morals or ethics when it comes to your situation or doing business. All they care about is getting you to sign a contract and they will obviously lie to you, lie about the vehicle your buying, and do whatever it takes to make that happen. Browning knows what they need and should do to make this right so do it and buy this truck back! There is nothing to discuss and no apology will ever be accepted considering all the negative contacts and continuing issues I'm finding with this CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle. The fact that Browning sold this truck as a CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle is FRAUD! More
