I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and a nonworking trailer light connector. When I dropped my truck off, my service advisor was not present so somebody else helped me. That person told me m nonworking trailer light connector. When I dropped my truck off, my service advisor was not present so somebody else helped me. That person told me my service advisor would call me and go over the repairs that I am requesting. He had me sign the drop off paper and I left. I never received a phone call from my service advisor, but did receive a message on my answering machine saying my truck was completed. When I arrived at the dealership, the cashier told me it was going to be $285 for an oil change and repairing my trailer light connector assembly. I told her I had insurance and I would like to speak to my service advisor. My service advisor told me there was a blown fuse for my trailer lights and it would cost $200 for the repair. I told him fuses do not cost $200 and he said the $200 is the diagnostic fee. I told him I never authorize a diagnostic fee of $200 and requested to speak to the service manager.. I told the service manager I have breakdown insurance through G.M.C. I also told him that I did sign the drop off papers, but it was never explained to me there is a $200 diagnostic fee.so I did not know. I replied it was never explained to me there was a $200 diagnostic fee. The service manager was very condescending and told me several more that i did know which is the same thong as calling me a lier. This angered me I raise my voice and told him I wanted my truck back and I was leaving. He told me no hes going to pay the $200. And wanted me to promise I would read every paper that I ever have to sign in my life. Luckily, I had control of myself and did not punch him at this point, but if he comes across the wrong person it will happen. I will never bring any of my vehicles to the dealer again. I found a diesel mechanic that has nothing to do with Gmc or Chevy. More
I just want to say thank you to the Service Manager Mark for investigating the issue I had with my last service. He was very professional and understanding. The technician made a mistake. Said my DEF fluid for investigating the issue I had with my last service. He was very professional and understanding. The technician made a mistake. Said my DEF fluid was low when it was actually full when I brought my truck in for a DEF system light on. I was frustrated, I tried explaining to my service writer Taylor before I talked to the service manager. Again I was frustrated but wow Taylor was very unprofessional. I tried explaining to him what was written on the statement as false documentation. Taylor failed to look into the issue or ask the technician. He further tried to say I’m not being honest verbally attacking me and called me a liar. Because I did not tell him I put new batteries weeks ago before DEF light came on. Which I explained to him I did not know I needed to. I could not believe how I was being treated. I explained to the service manager thank you but I will not return to this dealer. Will not be treaded like that again or should any customer for that matter. Truck has been an on going problem with DEF light on. I’ve replaced just about every part spending $5000 dollars for the parts and labor for DEF system and returning to this dealer many times and still not fixed but after service writer Taylor response takes the cake. Denny C. was great. He detailed the service and potential issues and outcomes. I was very satisfied in the end. Even the courtesy drivers were awesome. As was great. He detailed the service and potential issues and outcomes. I was very satisfied in the end. Even the courtesy drivers were awesome. As a veteran and better discount would have been, of course, appreciated, but Denny helped out a bit on that too. Car is running great and needed the tune up. Would recommend them to any Chevy owner. All fluids were replaced with a complete transmission service. Don't put this off as a new transmission could be 10x the cost of standard maintenance. More
