I arrived at Nissan to have my car serviced an hour before my appointment. The service consultant (Josh Johnson) greeted me immediately upon exiting my vehicle. Mr. Johnson was not my appointed service before my appointment. The service consultant (Josh Johnson) greeted me immediately upon exiting my vehicle. Mr. Johnson was not my appointed service consultant but took my information and got me checked in for the service consultant that made my appointment. My service consultant (Tripp Harper) arrived at his appointed time and immediately came to give me an update regarding my vehicle. Mr. Harper kept me updated on how the service was progressing and came to let me know when the service was completed. I got prompt and friendly service that was good quality and value for my money. Not happy with service department; brought in car for warranty work. Car was there 4 days, poor communication (finially had to go to the dealership to find out what was going on) was told (electric car warranty work. Car was there 4 days, poor communication (finially had to go to the dealership to find out what was going on) was told (electric car main battery) battery capacity loss was normal and not covered under warranty. Called Nissan consumer folks, they weren’t helpful, but did suggest a second opinion at a different dealership. I was only there an hour and was told that the battery would be covered under warranty. I have a 2019 Infiniti QX60 (with only 15,000 miles)and I normally go to Gwinnett Infiniti where I purchased the car for my service but had to much going on and decided to go to Nissan of Newnan which is jus normally go to Gwinnett Infiniti where I purchased the car for my service but had to much going on and decided to go to Nissan of Newnan which is just a few miles from me. Infiniti sends me reports every month showing the "health" of my car and what, if anything, needs to be checked. When Nissan did my oil change they gave me a list of things they thought should be done which would have cost hundreds of extra dollars, I declined of course. From now on I'll just drive the extra 60 miles. Apparently, they are not longer doing the complimentary car washes either. More
Had to get down to the point of almost leaving before the manger overheard our conversation. The young kid working the desk was not going to pursue any further action on the car. It should have not gotten this far, a manager should not have had to step in and ask if the lead technician could go ride and check out the car. I had already asked the young kid at the desk to do the same thing. And was told no-one was available, I would have to leave the car for another day. Also the young kid did not have the correct phone number to contact me and let the car sit for several days, he failed to check the phone number on file. Still up in the air if I will ever come back to this dealership. More
