THE WORST Service Departmant ever. We made an appointment for 8:00 A.M. Monday morning. It's Wed afternoon and they still have our car & can't tell me when it will get looked at. The receptionist while pleasant, had no answers & didn't understand why I was upset. I don't know Chris Aligood, he is apparently off work & according to the receptionist no one was in charge today. We are getting a ride to the dealership to get our car & will never go back. - More

Do not buy a Kia from Jeff Smith Kia in Perry ,Ga. Do not buy Kia either, purchased a 2018 Kia Optima in 2020 , and I was at dealership 10 times in 2022. The car burns oil, and the service department (Austin) said I did not meet requirements for Kia to replace the engine that is under warranty and recall. I called the manufacturer Kia and the representative told me a car with 50,000 miles is old, and I should be adding 3 quarts of oil in it every 1000 miles. She said that Austin at Kia in Perry stated "I did not meet Kia specifications to satisfy the oil test and approval for the replacement engine. I had so many oil consumption test in 2022 and I was told the engine was not 1 quart low. Their technician does the test on a hot engine that is running. I test my car in the morning before it is cranked up. Boy did I buy a lemon and pick a lemon Dealership. Nancy Evans More

Show up and they have no record of my appointment and the wait is 2 hours. Their reason was they had someone else working at the time that didn't work out so he was no longer there. This place is run the same as when they where Jeff Smith Chevrolet in Byron. What's the saying, You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. More
NEGATIVE 10 STARS NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE FOR SERVICE! I own a 2021 Kia Soul. On June 13th I had my vehicle towed into Jeff Smith because my check engine light came on and engine started vibrating. B I own a 2021 Kia Soul. On June 13th I had my vehicle towed into Jeff Smith because my check engine light came on and engine started vibrating. Before towing it in I spoke with a tech from Jeff Smith about the issue and they said the soonest diagnostic appointment was June 27th but to go ahead and have it towed in and they would try to work it in sooner and handle any recalls. Kia corporate was also involved with this conversation due to delay in appointment and dealer not offering loaner, so I had to pay for a rental and submit for possible reimbursement. 3 days later I received a call from Jeff Smith saying my car was ready to be picked up. All recalls were completed. I asked if the recalls being fixed also fixed whatever was causing the engine vibration and was the check engine light now off? The employee stated that the check engine light was still on. I replied that the vehicle wasn’t ready to be picked up then and would still need to be diagnosed on the 27th because it obviously wasn’t fixed. On June 29th I called to follow up on appointment and was advised that my vehicle had been ready for pickup after recalls were complete. That there was no record of an appointment for the 27th that they were told by the tow truck driver it was brought in for recalls. Remind you both myself and kia corporate spoke with them to set the diagnostic appointment. For the check engine light not the recalls. So I was advised they would get too it as soon as possible …they were short staffed. Fast forward to July 27th I received a call that my vehicle was ready. That upon diagnostic there was no check engine light on therefore nothing to check. They had my car 6 weeks. During this time, they were never apologetic for the delays or confusion, never offered a loaner, and rude when I would call. I get there to pick up my car and the information on my paperwork is incorrect they had some random person’s address listed as mine. After having to request it be corrected, they handed me the keys and said have a good day. I had to ask where the car was before they even offered to get it. So now I have paid for a rental for 6 weeks for Jeff Smith to tell me my car has nothing wrong with it. So I’m left with a car still not fixed and out over $1500 for a rental while my car sat in their parking lot. First off I do not recommend buying a KIA! A year-old car shouldn’t need to be in the shop at all other than maintenance. Second, whatever you do , DO NOT take it to Jeff Smith! I have never been treated so badly by a company and after seeing the confusion and disorganization with the management and employees I can see why they had so many delays and issues! More
This service department is a JOKE!!! I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Told me a bunch of lies making me think that they had fixed my car. Got a call the next day saying that it would be 2 weeks before the part would be here and also what they told me they fixed the day before they didn't fix it and it would be 2 weeks before that part is in as well. The service guy rolled his eyes at me as I was talking to him. Huffed and puffed at me while trying to talk to him. Just gave me bogus info to try to get me out of there. More
One of my key fobs drains the battery every 2 weeks even though not used and kept far away from car. Dealership diagnosed battery put in upside down. Overall Terrible Experience In the middle of last year (2018) I took my 2016 KIA Sedona in to have the airbag light which intermittently came on and off. After the technician loo In the middle of last year (2018) I took my 2016 KIA Sedona in to have the airbag light which intermittently came on and off. After the technician looked at it they said nothing was wrong at all or could be done. Fast forward to March of 2019 a recall came out and we were contacted by the dealership to bring it in and have this issue fixed. My wife went and sat there for an hour just for them to tell her that they could not perform the recall fix due to a backorder. They told her they would contact her when the part was off backorder and able to be fixed. We had an appointment August 6th to have the recall done. We dropped the vehicle off and were told it would be an hour. After an hour goes by we received a phone call saying they could not do the recall because we had aftermarket leather put in the vehicle and not by their dealership. I spoke with the service manager Austin and he had this to say: they would do it and have to send the leather wrapper seat back and install a cloth seat bottom. I stated that the leather seat would not be going back and that i myself or the installer of it would take it off and give them the seat bottom back after. I am not sure when the customer is the one that has to provide solutions for the service team became the way of business but hey who knows. The vehicle was going to be gone for a full day and so i asked about getting a loaner vehicle since it was KIA who made the mistake and had this recall to which Austin replied no I have nothing with this KIA motor recall going. The lot is full of used vehicles that could be used as well as other options. I left and then called Way Brothers in Hawkinsville, GA who i bought my last two trucks from about a vehicle. Now, mind you this vehicle did not come from there nor are they a KIA dealer. They gladly gave my wife a vehicle so that she was not out and having to scramble to make tomorrow work with kids going to school and other plans. Would not recommend Jeff Smith to anyone at all. Save yourself the headache and helpless service manager. More

I love the car but i do not want to be killed driving it either over something that should be covered. I will never buy or recommend Jeff Smith Kia in Perry ever!! It looks like I'm going to need an attorney! It's an 2012 Kia Optima. More
