First service experience When I drove into the service area, no one in the service area greeted me for several minutes. I just stood in front of my car, unsure whether or not I was supposed to have driven into the service area. There were three service workers, each to a counter, and one repair man working on a car. One person was working with a customer, another lady got on the phone, after I arrive, and the third person was just standing behind the counter. I was thinking to myself "I know these people see me", but no one said anything to me. The lady who was working with the customer walked past me with her customer heading into the show room area, she said " I'll be right back". A couple minutes later she returned without the customer. she went back to her counter, then approached the repairman about something, then returned to her desk, so I approached her and told her why I was there, she checked the schedule and said , "oh you are for (I don't remember his name), but it was the guy who was in there when I initially arrived. Once I walked over to his counter I was taken care of from that point. I'm a patient person, however I work in a position and train staff on customer service, so I understand the importance of the initial contact. The two people I encountered were friendly, however customer service needs a little improvement on all four of them that were in the service area. Also. I came in for an oil change, but I was having another problem with my car that I discussed with the service person handling my appointment. He said he kind of remembered some other customers that had that same issue "some time ago".He described to me what I was actually experiencing, but he didn't remember what the end result was. He also said if I wanted it checked out that day while I was there, it would probably be a long wait, which I didn't have that kind of time on that particular day, so I said to him " I wish you could remember or maybe find out from someone what was the causative problem. When my oil changed was completed, I asked him again if he found out or remembered what caused the issues I had described to him, he replied " oh no, I didn't". (Quite honestly, I don't think he remembered to try and find out". Additionally, as a courtesy, they offered a car wash, although my car wasn't that dirty. I said ok, but I wished I would have declined because it didn't look like it had been washed, and my windshield and front passenger window looked like clean oil or some other type of fluid had splattered on them. In the future, if they are going to offer a car wash, please do a decent job. More
