First service experience When I drove into the service area, no one in the service area greeted me for several minutes. I just stood in front of my car, unsure whether or not I was supposed to have driven into the service area. There were three service workers, each to a counter, and one repair man working on a car. One person was working with a customer, another lady got on the phone, after I arrive, and the third person was just standing behind the counter. I was thinking to myself "I know these people see me", but no one said anything to me. The lady who was working with the customer walked past me with her customer heading into the show room area, she said " I'll be right back". A couple minutes later she returned without the customer. she went back to her counter, then approached the repairman about something, then returned to her desk, so I approached her and told her why I was there, she checked the schedule and said , "oh you are for (I don't remember his name), but it was the guy who was in there when I initially arrived. Once I walked over to his counter I was taken care of from that point. I'm a patient person, however I work in a position and train staff on customer service, so I understand the importance of the initial contact. The two people I encountered were friendly, however customer service needs a little improvement on all four of them that were in the service area. Also. I came in for an oil change, but I was having another problem with my car that I discussed with the service person handling my appointment. He said he kind of remembered some other customers that had that same issue "some time ago".He described to me what I was actually experiencing, but he didn't remember what the end result was. He also said if I wanted it checked out that day while I was there, it would probably be a long wait, which I didn't have that kind of time on that particular day, so I said to him " I wish you could remember or maybe find out from someone what was the causative problem. When my oil changed was completed, I asked him again if he found out or remembered what caused the issues I had described to him, he replied " oh no, I didn't". (Quite honestly, I don't think he remembered to try and find out". Additionally, as a courtesy, they offered a car wash, although my car wasn't that dirty. I said ok, but I wished I would have declined because it didn't look like it had been washed, and my windshield and front passenger window looked like clean oil or some other type of fluid had splattered on them. In the future, if they are going to offer a car wash, please do a decent job. More

Pulled up guy told me and Williams will take care of you, she walked away as i walked up than came back said someone will be with you shorty, than walked away came back again and glanced at the computer for not even a second and said what can i help with, with a dull look on her face as if she didn’t want to help me so i explained i would like my oil to be change i came an hour early i have an appt at 10:40 she said ok an than explained to me about how it will be $115 for a diagnostic of my car but the way she said it to me was as if i won’t be charged if i don’t accept the service so she made me sign the fee and the paper felt fishy, 3 hours later i end up having to call asking about my car never got a text or anything and she stated i will need a new radio, she called 15 mins after stated that my car is ready and i felt rushed like she didn’t care to tell me more so i told her I’m outside I’ll be in shortly got to the desk she said it will be $160 something i was like for what i thought i was only paying for my oil hangar she said no remember you signed saying you will pay $115 for them to look at your car and i was like no you told me that i wouldn’t get charged if i didn’t accept them to fix it, so she kept going back and forth with me so i said I’ll pay for the oil change and that’s it i can’t afford to pay that if i would have known i would have never got them to look at it period and she rolled her eyes said well you need to call someone to pay for our bill or something, so i walked away and she said you don’t want to do that i will call the police so i kept walking and she sent the General Manger i explained to him everything, i started out having a beautiful day until i net and Williams she’s very rude in her own way and make it sooo bad one of the workers came to me and told me to take my car home now you don’t want them working on your car in a sarcastic way so i knew then i needed to leave! Yea i had to go to the sales manager on duty to explain to him about her and how nobody offered me to sit inside or anything it was horrible but the sales manager did apologize and also did the GM but i would never go there again because guess what everything is back working in my car due to a fuse after asking Ms Williams did they check that and she responded “of course they did, why wouldn’t they “ so i would have paid $115 and nothing got fixed real funny she seem fishy the moment i got there i just wouldn’t trust their service area go somewhere else More
NIGHTMARE FROM xxxx After closing for the new SUV;it took two extra visits to the dealership to get a sales receipt and other papers. Wanted to know what was going on. They was trying to sell me some other company plan. Had to get them to change the plan to Hyundai. Was told my management we can take the headrest DVD from the 2017 Santa Fe that they installed and place them into the 2018 Santa Fe Get the floors mats and other things out of the 2017 Santa Fe. We found out the DVD was not installed correctly. Took the SUV back to service to get them installed correctly into the 2018 SUV. They gave me a Santa Fe loaner car. Kept the SUV for five (5) days and said they will not honor the agreement. Now my kids have no DVD to watch for long trips. More

Terrible service department I took my Genesis in for them to repair the sunroof and the third brake light assembly. It took 38 days to replace the sunroof and the brake light. When I got my car back they had wrecked my car and didn’t say anything about it. Took another 3 days to fix the bumper. So 41 days in the shop. While driving behind my wife today I see that the third brake light doesn’t even work. Hyundai Motor Corp. stepped in and returned my November payment after the service I received. While my car was in the shop I asked for Fred Marion 6 times and he never made time to speak to me. That tells me he doesn’t need my business after I purchased a 55K vehicle. So I have moved all my business over to Ed Volyes Hyundai, they don’t suck like Thornton Road Hyundai does. Good riddance and thanks for all the crappy service. More

Since I bought my car in 2013 I have interfaced more with the service department. The Service Advisors are always professional, knowledgable and helpful in explaining all facets of the service. I enjoy taking my laptop or using the computers available to get work done and enjoying early morning coffee while I wait. It is always a nice experience! More
