Everyone at this dealership was awesome to work with. A few of the cars I was interested in they had to bring in from another place, but they told me that over the phone. So I was able to state what cars I was interested in and they confirmed what time I needed to be there to visit - so I didn't have drive out there (Shelbyville from Indy) until they had the cars I was interested in. My sales and loans guys were both off the few days after I had decided to buy - the manager stepped up and handled everything so that when the loan and sales guys were back I was able to just come out the next Saturday and get everything taken care of. They were really great working me (and my father) with financing. I appreciate the friendly attitude and the service. I felt like they were dealing with me straight up, no shady "car salesmen" vibe or anything. More

We have purchased 2 vehicles from the guys at Acra. In both cases we received a good deal and most importantly were treated with respect. Many dealers fail to realize that it's 2010 and the customer has both cases we received a good deal and most importantly were treated with respect. Many dealers fail to realize that it's 2010 and the customer has a vast amount of information at their fingertips. I can search the entire country for the right car and the right price. All the dealer really brings to the table is their service. It's all about how they treat you. If a dealer ttreats you poorly then you can find the same deal (or possibly better) and drive down the road. The guys at Acra understand that. We're from NW Indiana and began shopping locally. We had a bad experience with a dealer so we called up Gary and Bill and asked what they could do for us. They took our information and called us back 24 hours later with the car we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. More

I have to say that everytime we have called looking for a specific vehicle, they have either had what we were looking for or had been able to find it. We have had really great experiences working with Gary and Bill. Since my credit was not the greatest, Gary had gone out of his way to make sure that I was able to purchase the car that I wanted. He stayed in contact with me to let me know what was going on and what I needed to do. Most dealership won't even bother to speak with you if you don't have perfect credit. I also have to say that I was VERY impressed with the deal that I received. We have already recommended them to some of our friends and will continue to do so. More
I recently bought a 2009 Pontiac Vibe from ACRA in Shelbyville and was blown away at how great my experience was. I had been researching cars for a few months and had decided the 09 Pontiac Vibe was t Shelbyville and was blown away at how great my experience was. I had been researching cars for a few months and had decided the 09 Pontiac Vibe was the car I wanted. I shopped around and found that I was having troubles getting financed thanks to a less than perfect credit history. After finding a couple places that claimed they could finance me I went and test drove a couple of 09 Vibes. One was in good shape but the price was higher as was the mileage. The other one was in pretty rough condition and was also priced high and had 37k+ miles. After a few tries and a few 2 to 6 hrs drives I was almost ready to give up for now. Thankfully, before I did I called ACRA. They had an 09 Vibe that looked like it was in great condition, had low miles and was priced pretty reasonably. I talked to Jeff for a while about the vehicles condition and he explained that it was in great condition. Now I had just driven to Ft Wayne to see a Vibe that was also in "great" condition, that ended up being in horrible condition. So I asked repeatedly if it was really in great shape, Jeff assured me that it was. After talking to Jeff about the vehicle for a while I asked if I could talk to a finance officer and he transferred me to Gary. Gary was just awesome. After talking to him about the blemishes on my credit and explaining what kind of payments I was looking for he was able to find me a reasonable loan even with my poor credit. So now I just had to go test drive the vehicle. Being the skeptic that I am I prepared myself to be let down. When I arrived to test drive the car I was incredibly happy to find that the car was in the exact condition they had claimed. Jeff came with us for the test drive at my request, since I didnt know the area. He was very polite and let me explore the car uninterrupted. He also had a nice conversation with my mother who came along for the drive while I was focusing on the car. Being very impressed with the car I decided I'd like to purchase the car. Jeff immediately started on the paperwork and even ended up staying like an hour late to make sure we got everything we needed. When I met with Gary to start filling out the financial documents I got an insane surprise! Even with me content with the terms we had earlier discussed as well as the price of the car. He ended up finding another lender which got me a deal that had a much lower APR, lower payments, a short term and even knocked a little of the car price to make the deal work for the lender. Gary's the man, if you have poor credit, just lay it all out for him upfront and he might be able to help you out like he did me. I can't put to words how satisfied I am with the entire experience. I've now had the car for almost a month and havent had a single problem with it. I would definitely go back to ACRA for another car and recommend them to a friend. More
I live in Pittsburgh, PA and was looking for a specific truck. The only one I could find that had a decent price was at the Shelbyville, Indiana location Acra dealer. Being that I could not physically look at the truck, I had to rely on word of mouth from Jeff, and also pictures. Their website did not have a lot of pictures, so I asked Jeff for some more and he sent them immediately. He was extremely helpful with all my tedious questions, as I asked a lot due to not being able to "see" the truck in person. After about ten phone calls, I finally decided to purchase the truck. Jeff transferred me over the Gary, who handles the financing, and the process went very smoothly. Gary was outstanding in helping me find the right financing, and was also able to save me three payments! He took the time to handle all my out of state questions, and even found a local bank for me to finance through. Our trip to Indiana was easy, and when we arrived I met with Jeff and the General Manager Bill, who handled the final sale of the truck (Gary was off). They accommodated my two little boys, and my wife, while I bought the truck. Bill also was also very helpful, and even purchased me some floor mats for the truck. When we arrived home, I realize that the radio was broken. One call to Bill was all it took. He immediately apologized, and sent me a check (which arrive three days later) to fix the radio. Awesome service! Overall, I would drive back to Indiana in a heartbeat to purchase a vehicle from Acra again. Everybody was awesome, and they treated us greatly! Thanks again Acra for a great vehicle! More
This is the second time we have purchased a vehicle from ACRA. Both times the salesmen were honest, helpful, and made the entire car buying process excellent. I would highly recommend ACRA to anyone looking ACRA. Both times the salesmen were honest, helpful, and made the entire car buying process excellent. I would highly recommend ACRA to anyone looking for a reasonably priced used vehicle. I would always recommend doing research before purchasing a vehicle, but we were never pressured. Plus they were very fair on our trade-ins both times. Beyond that, both time we purchased vehicles, we ended up keeping the salesman and the finance guy pass closing time. Also, this most recent purchase, it was pouring down rain, so our salesman, Randy, moved our old vehicle and our new one into their garage so that we could transfer our personal items to the new vehicle. These aren't big deals, and might be even expected, but I never had to ask. They just did it, which added to the overall ease of buying our "new-to-us" vehicle. More

My husband found a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 on autotrader.com at ACRA that he was interested in. It was a good deal, about $1500 less than local dealerships were asing for the truck. He couldn't see anything wro at ACRA that he was interested in. It was a good deal, about $1500 less than local dealerships were asing for the truck. He couldn't see anything wrong with the truck, but called to make sure before we drove to buy it since we live about 250 miles away from the dealership. The salesman my husband spoke to on the phone said that the truck was in perfect condition. We couldn't see anything wrong with it in the pictures, so we didn't question the salesman. The next day we drove up to Indiana to buy the truck. The body had scratches all over it and there were a few dents. Two of the rims had big scrapes on them. The tires were in terrible condition. One of the tires had a big slash in the front wall. Another tire had almost no tread left. There was also rust everywhere in the undercarraige. with the muffle having the worst of it. My husband and I couldn't believe it was the same vehicle in the pictures, not to mention that the salesman told us that the truck wasin great condition. We said that we would still buy it, but asked that new tires be put on first. The salesman asked the manager and he agreed. After calling a few places for tires, the salesman took a break and went back to talk to the manager again. The salesman came back and said that there was a truck in the lot with new-looking tires that they could put on the truck. My husband and I looked at the tires and they did look good, so we agreed. We were still getting a deal since they were knocking $600 off the already-low price. The salesman called a few local auto shops to see if they had time to swap the tires on the trucks and then, again, went back to talk to the manager. They both came out of his office a short time later and said that they were no longer willing to swap the good tires with the crummy tires from the truck we were buying. The manager said that he didn't know the salesman had discounted the price already (I didn't think a salesman could do that without an okay from the manager), and said he just could giv us the tires as well. He looked right at me and said I had to look at it from his point of view, that he couldn't be left with a truck in the lot with bad tires. I asked him, then how could he think it was okay to give us the bad tires and let us drive 250 miles home on them. This was the last straw for me. The manager and salesman had comlplete disregard for my husband and I and our safety. I walked out and waited for my husband. For customer service I gave them a 2 because my husband in the end did talk them into putting the good tires on the truck we wanted, but I refused to buy it after being so badly insulted, given a run-around, and being lied to. For quality of work I gave a 1 for obvious reasons. I gave a 2 for friendliness because they were very friendly but, again, they lied to us in the initial phone conversations and treated us badly at the dealersip. I gave a 1 for overall experience for obvious reasons as well. I gave a 2 for the price because it would have been an okay deal, I guess. More
