My son just had his first car buying experience at 518. It was not good. Bought a 2008 Cadillac on 5/28/2021, the very next day the car wouldn't start. He's been waiting all day for a tow truck to pickup the car, which never happen, but was told by 518 they would pick it up. Now he has to wait until 518 opens up again to deal with the situation, which he'll get the run around because he's young. I will be calling them as soon as they open! More
Great Dealership! Very welcoming and professional. They went the extra mile for me by giving me more for my car than what it was worth and helped me to find the best interest rate. went the extra mile for me by giving me more for my car than what it was worth and helped me to find the best interest rate. Hello everyone, I'm a 25 year retired USMC veteran, and I feel 518 management doesn't value their customers after a sale is made! I've previously written a review stating how pleased I was with the exception feel 518 management doesn't value their customers after a sale is made! I've previously written a review stating how pleased I was with the exceptional service, well my opinion has changed. I would suggest anyone who thinking about purchasing a vehicle from there to take that vehicle to someone whom they trust prior to finalizing the sale and this is why. Three weeks after purchasing the vehicle the engine check light came on while my son was driving so he took it to have the code read at one of the automotive stores in VaBch. The code identified it was the battery so my son replaced the battery out of his pocket. The cost was a little over $200.00. I called the dealership and pretty much got the run around from the store manager Mr. G stating he would give me a call back but never did. Well it so happened the tags for the vehicle came in and I've received a call from the receptionist later that same evening. So I decided to go pick up the tags and registration myself the following day. When I arrived the sales representative who sold me the car recognized me and assisted me with getting the tags, and then I told him I needed to speak with Mr. G regarding having to replace the battery. After approximately 30 minutes later Mr. G approached me and asked me to step into an office. I then told him what we experienced with the vehicle and that the battery was replaced, and yes I brought the receipt with me. He begin to tell me how he had to buy his wife a battery after purchasing her a car and he wasn't aware of any problem with the vehicle and how we should've brought the car back to him first. He didn't want to reimburse the cost of the battery or take responsibility for a faulty/depleted battery. If he would have offered half of the cost I would have been satisfied but instead he decided to become very unprofessional. So, I hope that you tread very cautiously if you're looking to buying a vehicle from 518, especially if you're veteran, reservist/Guard, or active duty. Mr. B, USMC MGySgt Retired. For this I give them a rating of poor. More
