Was sold a Dodge Durango that came with financial hardship and no one to turn to. TJ successfully scammed me out of thousands of dollars for his selfish gain. We looked at many cars as TJ puffed his THC vape and complained about the amount of cars we looked at. Many of the cars have cosmetic damage and some didn’t start. The Mazda 6 that we were interested in initially didn’t even start! Tj brought out a battery charger then made false claims that the battery was disconnected. Since when do we “disconnect” batteries on lots where cars are on show case to be sold. Tj ensured we would miss any defects with the car by limiting where we drove for test drive. The issue with the 2017 Dodge Durango is that when you approach speeds around 40 miles per hour, the vehicle shakes violently and the check engine light flashes as you drive down the highway. TJ was aware of this issue as he manipulated where we drove stop light to stop light to avoid those issues to show themselves. I recommend 518 be invested for fraud They bring no value to the Hampton’s roads area. This is the nightmare dealership of the community. More

Last Friday, I paid over $900 to have a vehicle shipped from Virginia to Albany, Georgia, for my brother, trusting their commitment to a timely and smooth transaction. However, the reality has been anything but. Firstly, the price of the car did not at all reflect its condition, but despite my reservations, I proceeded because it was the vehicle my brother has always desired. From the moment the purchase was finalized, the service plummeted into non-existence. Promised updates on shipping were absent, and attempts to establish communication have been utterly futile. Since the supposed shipping date, I have called the dealership THREE times, contacted the salesperson directly TWICE, and left MULTIPLE messages. Responses? None. During two calls, I reached someone who only put me on hold for over 12 minutes each time, leading nowhere. Emails and texts have similarly gone unanswered. It’s now Wednesday—a full business week—and not only is the vehicle’s whereabouts unknown, but no one at 518 Auto Sales seems capable of picking up a phone or responding to a message. The dealership indicated that the car might arrive by Sunday, or Monday at the latest, yet it’s midweek with no word, no confirmation, nothing. My brother is effectively housebound, waiting for a delivery that was supposed to be a surprise and straightforward. This lack of communication and disregard for customer service is not only UNPROFESSIONAL; it’s DISRESPECTFUL, ESPECIALLY IN A MILITARY TOWN where you EXPECT BUSINESSES TO DEMONSTRATE INTEGRITY AND RESPECT TOWARDS SERVICE MEMBERS. Walking into 518 Auto Sales, you might be impressed by the lineup of sleek or clean cars, but don’t be deceived. The quality of their vehicles is not matched by their customer service, which is non-existent once they’ve made a sale. With a dubious mix of high internal ratings and a mediocre public score, it’s clear that this dealership prioritizes facade over substance. This isn’t just POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE; it’s an outright NEGLECT OF BASIC BUSINESS ETHICS. I AM APPALLED AND DEEPLY REGRET MY DECISION TO ENGAGE WITH 518 AUTO SALES. I urge everyone to run away. There are 100 dealerships in Norfolk- go to one of them instead. We bought a car from this “dealership” last Friday. It’s now Thursday. They knew we just moved out of town, but wouldn’t let us take the car home. It needed an inspection. That’s what we were told at least. We paid the down payment, we signed the loan agreement, we signed the monthly installment paperwork, we did everything. Our brother stayed in town for what was supposed to be 2 days longer just to be fed more xxxxxxxxx and now has missed an entire week of work!! They don’t give a xxxx about the impact they’ve caused on our life, on my brothers life, on anyone’s lives except their own! They won’t even work with us to give us the money back by tomorrow!!!! The newest excuse is that we suddenly aren’t approved after WE WERE ALREADY APPROVED! My husbands credit score is almost 700 and we’re approved everywhere we look….. yet this little spot cant approve us? Okay. I’ve been put on hold for hours at a time. Disrespected, pushed aside, been spoken to like xxxx, lied to continuously, yet I’ve been gracious, patient, & kind. They even accidentally charged $5 less on the down payment and my husband pointed it out so we could pay that and weren’t shorting these ppl. Yet we still got treated like this!! The police will be with my husband tomorrow when he comes in to get our money back since apparently its a process to issue a refund. However we paid cash and it should just be handed back to us. If this check is not ready, we will proceed with filing a lawsuit. We have every bit of proof and recorded phone call we need to prove the xxxxxxxxx we’ve been dragged through. & if I go into labor on this trip that shouldn’t even be taking place, that will be added to the lawsuit as well.
