After posting my initial review, I feel compelled to update it based on new information and the dealership’s lack of resolution. My experience with 21st Century Auto Group has only worsened, and I want update it based on new information and the dealership’s lack of resolution. My experience with 21st Century Auto Group has only worsened, and I want to ensure that others are aware of their deceptive practices and disregard for customer safety. 1. Pricing Discrepancy The vehicle I purchased, a 2018 Tesla Model X, was advertised online at a price approximately $3,000 lower than what I was charged at the dealership. Despite asking for clarification, the dealership offered no reasonable explanation for this price difference. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic designed to take advantage of customers once they’re committed to the process. 2. Undisclosed Safety Defects The car failed Maryland state inspection due to cracked tires and broken front and inner control arms, which made the vehicle unsafe to drive. These are critical safety issues that were present at the time of sale, raising serious concerns about how this vehicle passed New Jersey state inspection. When I requested a copy of the inspection report to understand how these issues were overlooked, the dealership ignored my request. 3. Lack of Communication I reached out to the dealership multiple times via email with detailed documentation, including the inspection report, repair bills totaling $4,000, and photos of the defects. To date, I have received no meaningful response or resolution. Instead, they accused me of making threats simply because I expressed my frustration with their lack of communication and stated my intent to leave honest reviews about my experience. 4. Final Thoughts This dealership has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability and transparency. Selling a vehicle with undisclosed safety defects and inflating the price from what was advertised is unacceptable. Their unwillingness to address my concerns or take responsibility only reinforces my belief that they prioritize profit over customer safety and satisfaction. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from 21st Century Auto Group, I strongly urge you to think twice. My experience has been a nightmare, and I would not want anyone else to go through what I have. Buyer beware. More
I purchased a 2018 Tesla Model X from this dealership and had an incredibly disappointing experience. After driving the car home to Maryland, I discovered that it failed Maryland state inspection due to serious safety issues, including cracked tires and broken front and inner control arms. These issues made the car unsafe to drive, putting me, my passenger, and others on the road at significant risk. What’s even more troubling is that I emailed the dealership, providing detailed documentation, including the inspection report and repair bill totaling $4,000, and I received no response. The lack of accountability and customer care is appalling. Selling a vehicle in such hazardous condition is unacceptable, and failing to address the issue after being notified shows a complete disregard for safety and professionalism. To make matters worse, the car was delivered with less than 50 miles of charge, forcing me to stop at a charging station before I could even head home. This was just the beginning of a frustrating and stressful experience. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this dealership to anyone. If you value safety, transparency, and reliable customer service, avoid this dealership at all costs. I would advise anyone considering a purchase to have the vehicle inspected independently before buying. Buyers beware. This dealership prioritizes profit over customer safety and satisfaction. More

The joke store was sold out so I went to 21st Century Auto Group. 3d time there looking for Jeep Trackhawk- they have 11 on their site and all over sites like Cargurus etc. I went to see this vehicle htt Auto Group. 3d time there looking for Jeep Trackhawk- they have 11 on their site and all over sites like Cargurus etc. I went to see this vehicle https://www.21centuryautogroup.com/used.cfm/vehicle/2021-jeep-grand-cherokee-trackhawk-4wd-1C4RJFN9XMC757961/ and for 3rd time going there, it doesn't exist. "but we have this one," and shown their only one in stock - a 2018 Trackhawk with 31,701 miles with a price of ~85k. So they advertise a 2021 with 21k miles for 85k, and show this car 3 years older and 50% more miles for the same price. I left, again - went home to shower off the slime, then went on their site and see this exact 2018 with 31k miles for 79k. I don't know how ratings on this site can be so high vs yelp (which is a 2 star rating with many complaints including pointing out fines levied by NJ Attorney General for deceptive business practices )- maybe due to filling out the info here can only be completed if you strike a "deal" and buy a vehicle. Go to Yelp for actual customer "experiences". Again, 11 Jeep Trackhawks advertised, in reality they have one. The 2021 above is still on their site and all over the internet... did it ever exist? Doubt it. Just when you thought 1980's Rt. 22 bait-and-switch and deceptive sale tactics were gone, we have these guys. The internet has provided buyers with clarity regarding pricing, dealer invoice, and a competitive environment but these guys use it to their advantage to lure in unsuspecting fools in an attempt to extract as much money from them as possible. This site indicates an inventory of 400 vehicles- really? Or do they have 150 vehicles yet advertise 400? Unless they rip this car from their site after this review, click on the carfax report. It was either sold 7/12/24 or best case 9/3/24... it's 10/15/24 folks. I'm not a smart man Jenny, but it appears this Jeep was sold six weeks ago, or perhaps over three months ago yet it remains on their site and 3rd party sites. More
