They do not work anything out with their customers try to help them nothing. Go thru your own bank save yourself the trouble. I wish I looked over my contract sooner my car was involved in more than 2 accidents. They tell me I owe them all this money when my payments were supposed to be 139 weekly... how does that equal 888? I have the messages to prove all of this and I will continually leave these kind of reviews. They will not work out a payment plan. They don’t care if you had a 27 month long payment history. You miss one month they are HARASSING YOU! Now it is not their staff fault either as they are doing as they are told but I’m telling you never again!!! Extortion via NYS inspection Save your money, and go to any one of the more honest places on route 112. The service department of this company scammed me into buying new breaks an Save your money, and go to any one of the more honest places on route 112. The service department of this company scammed me into buying new breaks and rotors, even though it is clear when looking at the old parts that the breaks and rotors are fine. On top of this, they initially told me I could pay with credit card, then later insisted I pay cash. They further held my car hostage, and threatened to have me arrested. Read on for more details. My car failed NYS inspection two weeks ago, due to low treads on the tires. I had new tires at that time, but did not have them with me, so I chose to take my car elsewhere to have the new tires installed and reinspected. The car passed all other points of inspection. First, their service location is not at the above address, but at a different site. I dropped off my car 11 minutes late for my 9 am appointment. I confirmed at that time that I could pay with a credit card, and was assured I could. There is no lobby in which to wait on site. I received a call an hour later, informing me that they'd just now looked at my car, and that my front break pads and rotors needed to be replaced to pass inspection. I got a quote for the pads and rotors. When I informed the mechanic (Pat) that my breaks had just passed two weeks ago, and that I'd like to call around and check prices, he became rather rude, and informed me that I can do whatever I'd like. Preferring to avoid hassle, I authorized the repair, and asked to be given the old parts. The repair then took 4 hours. I then received a call from Pat informing me that the car was done, but that I would need to pay him cash. I should reiterate that before dropping off the car I specifically asked if I could use a credit card and was informed "yes, of course." I insisted that I would be happy to pay with a credit card, as per our initial agreement. He then stated, using curse words, that I could not have my car until I arrived with cash. I again explained that I had no problem paying with a credit card, as we had originally agreed. I called Tom, the manager at the auto sales location, who informed me that we could "wait and see what the cops say," and then hung up on me. I called the police, and returned to the garage, where I was shouted at, cursed and, and called a "xxxxxx" among other things. He also refused to allow me to see an invoice until I paid him. He also threatened to have me arrested. When the police arrived, pat, the mechanic, became vulgar with the police officer. With the police officer present I felt comfortable delivering cash. I paid for my car, while.the mechanic lectured me about what a good deal I'd gotten. I was given the old parts and promptly left. I took the parts to a different mechanic, who confirmed my pads were acceptable and should have passed inspection. So, I have been scammed out of a few hundred dollars, and have no recourse aside from a civil suit, as I was forced to pay cash. If you're thinking of getting repair work here, or even buying a car, think again. The service was terrible, possibly fraudulent, and no one there is interested in proper customer service. More
