#1 Cochran Nissan Boardman

Stopped in 3 weeks ago, looking at the used Corollas Boardman Nissan had advertised. The sales rep did not have the prices handy so he went in and came back with the sales manager. I had a few questions as some of the Corollas had scratches, dents, etc..Nothing major but some very noticeable. We talked price for a moment, then he asked me for my email address and promised to send me pricing info on the 3-4 corollas on the lot. No email came. Stopped back the next day, spoke to the sales manager again, told him he never responded. He then asked me "did you write the email address down or did I write it down....what time were you here....maybe it got lost...etc". anyhow I told him I was still interested but explained that ALL the Toyotas were dinged up, would the dealership fix these if I bought a car? He then stated " so you looked at every one and didn't find ONE you liked? I told him "no, not the point, you never answered my question...would the dents/scratches be fixed?" He then asked which one I wanted to drive....never did answer the question. Drove down 224 and bought a civic at the Honda Store. Very unusual experience. Won't go back. Most of the posts here were positive so maybe I caught him on a bad hair day. More

We walked in tired and angry. We were introduced to Craig who immediately calmed us down by listening and focusing on our needs for a lease. As an emergency measure during our return trip home to Virginia from Detroit, we stopped at Boardman Nissan in Youngstown, Ohio to have them check out our car. We arrived in the late afternoon, they took us right in, adjusted the wheels, and sent us on our way. We had an uneventful trip home. After seeing a 2012 Nissan Frontier on autotrader.com, in the exact color and option package we had hoped for, my wife and I decided to look at this trunk at Boardman Nissan. We were greeted by Michael, who showed us the truck and accompanied my wife on a test drive (she's the truck driver at our house). Our trade was evaluated, and we were able to discuss the details of the deal. The truck was 9 months old, and we were concerned about some paint chips at one of the wheel wells. Mike assured me they would take care of this, and we committed to the purchase if they were fixed to our satisfaction. To make a long story short, Wes, the sales manager made sure the repair was made to our satisfaction, and we bought the truck. The experience was great for several reasons. Mike and Wes were pleasant without a lot of pressure. The repair was made to our satisfaction. The price on the truck was great, saving us about $10,000 over a similar new truck. Their finance person found us financing that saved a full percentage point over what our bank had offered. Best yet, they took care of titling and registering our truck in Pennsylvania, saving us a lot of time and aggravation. Best of all my wife is thrilled with our truck, and I'm sure most men understand how important that is! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Boardman Nissan, and would recommend this dealership to others. More
