#1 Cochran Nissan Boardman

Not What I expected I was initially impressed with Boardman Nissan and ended up buying 2 used vehicles in one visit. Our sales associate, Sarah, was awesome, however, I I was initially impressed with Boardman Nissan and ended up buying 2 used vehicles in one visit. Our sales associate, Sarah, was awesome, however, I am more than displeased to see that the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab (4.7 liter) truck I traded in and was given $8500 trade value (which i still owed $10k) is now being sold for $14900. You couldnt have paid it off since you are now charging a 75% markup? The KIA Optima we traded in, had high mileage (116k) and we were given $2500. Then after purchasing 2 vehicles (a 2011 Nissan rogue and a 2008 Lincoln MKZ) with a combined sales price of over $35000, they said they'd put gas in the cars (as both were empty) and to our surprise after we were there for over 4 hours and late picking up our children (which they were well aware of) we both had only an 1/8 of a tank, so we had to stop and get gas after just dropping $35k. Good thing we drove an hour to get there. Service is great, however leaving feeling like you didn't get ripped off is even better. I guess the $80 it would have cost to fill the gas tanks in both the purchased vehicles would have cut into the enormous mark up on the truck I traded in. In closing, I will most likely not consider Boardman Nissan for future purchases, as they charge a tremendous markup and offer their customers low tradebin values. If you plan to purchase from there, offer $5k less than the asking price. In addition, the sales tactics like taking your keys upon arrival (to keep the potential buyer there as long as possible) and obtaining credit card for down payment before a deal is even finalized is predatory and overly aggressive. More

After many years of dealing with sales people from dealerships who's only focus seemed to be squeezing every dime they can from their customers, I cannot tell you what a dealing with sales people from dealerships who's only focus seemed to be squeezing every dime they can from their customers, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to trade in a vehicle and purchase a new one from a dealership that genuinely cares about its customers needs.
