My husband read an article on AOL about the best deals for used cars being the Chevy Malibu, so we looked for some, online, in the Pittsburgh area. My husband told her that we were looking for a newer second car for me, who happens to be a very petite driver and he expressed our concerns that, in most cars, I am too close to the steering wheel and, therefore, the airbag, due to my short legs. Samantha actually went out and tried out the car we had inquired about, as well as several others to see what might work best for me and sent another reply. We were invited to go to the showroom, and try these cars out with the offer that she'd have fresh coffee made. An hour and a half drive got us there just shortly before closing, but, no problem. We were greeted by Eric Deitke, who was very friendly. He brought us in to Samantha, who then took charge of our 10 year old grandson, who was hungry and bored. She gave him food, drink, and the tv remote and kept him happy while we looked at the cars with Eric. Eric was very knowledgeable, and excellent to work with. He offered us other choices, and let me test drive them, but there was never any pressure to purchase new versus used. And, when we made our decision of the car we wanted, which was the one we originally went there to see, he offered to make all the arrangements so we could drive away with it that day. At that point Brad Cobaugh, the business manager came in and handled all of the financing details, which went very smoothly. Again, he offered us different options (added warranty, auto armor, etc.), but never pressured, only informed and accepted our decision as final without asking again. I have purchased cars in the past and it was always a very painful and time consuming experience. This one was neither. It was well worth the 90 minute drive to buy our car from Thomas Honda in Johnstown. Thank you, Eric, Samantha, and Brad for the wonderful experience! More

Eric Deitke met me in the lot; he was VERY friendly, personable, informative & professional & never pushy! (The other 2 dealerships that I went to that day, were either closed already, or I was greeted by a salesman that was visually not professional or interested in selling a car!) So, I was completely relieved by my experience at Thomas Team Honda!!! Eric was very informative of EVERYTHING about the car, offered a test drive & never made me feel ackward. As we waited for approval, Eric made sure that my son & I were completely comfortable, offered us drinks & kept me company as I anxiously awaited "the word"!! Eric introduced me to Brad Cobaugh/business manager, who also was very polite, friendly & professional! I would recommend this dealership to EVERYONE! It was clean, modern & very friendly! Look for Eric Deitke...he is a fabulous saleman!! He answered all my questions, was extremely informative of all models of cars & spoke to you as a person, not a potential sale! They filled my tank, cleaned the car, Eric went over everything inside & out & handed me the keys to my new car!! He assured me that if I had ANY questions or concerns, to please feel free to call or stop by! I LOVE MY HONDA FIT!! purchased a used Accord "07" , car very clean ,looked as new ! It is a certified Honda ,so everythng is as it should be !! I went into the other dealership in Beaverdale and the sales people acted as though they could care less if I bought a car from them, they did not follow up with me and didn't even want to bother addressing anything wrong with the car sitting on their lot. I went to Thomas Honda afterwards and I was AMAZED by the difference. The sales person had emailed me the car ahead of time, offered their personal honest experiences with the cars and went above and beyond what I expected several times throughout the process. One of the salesman, Roy, even personally went down to a bank on his own time to talk to the woman there they work with about getting me a better rate. Samantha did a wonderful job following up and making the deal work for me in every regard. And Roger stayed after closing hours to make sure I could pick up my vehicle when it was convenient for me. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this dealership from the moment I emailed about the vehicle to the moment I drove off the lot with it. (Who has the ability to say they are truly 100% satisfied with a car dealer?) I feel like I got a great deal and they made it easy. 150% recommend Thomas Honda, in a couple of years when I pay this vehicle off I will be returning to Thomas to purchase again, and I have already convinced my mother to buy there. They will never try to recommend unnecessary repairs and are totally honest with what the problem is and what is required to fix it. It is by far the best service department I have ever dealt with. We were very pleased with both the sales and service experiences. We love the cars too. We love all the amenities in the Honda Odyssey Touring Edition. It's a great vehicle.
