I was very impressed with his friendliness, courtesy & helpfu Greetings! I purchased a Honda Fit Sept 2010, my sales consultant was Eric Deitke. I was very impressed with his friendliness, courtesy & helpfulness in my purchase of a new car. Unfortunately in July of 2011 I was involved in a vehicle accident (with my brand new car) and although the body work and repairs were satisfactory, I was uncomfortable with keeping the Fit and contemplated trading it in. After seeing Eric once again during a routine inspection for the Honda Fit, I expressed my concerns and he was very understanding and stated that if I was interested in coming up again, he would be more than happy to "see what we can do". After some careful consideration, November 2011, I did decide to revisit Thomas Honda & was very pleased to purchase (lease) another Honda, this time a Civic!! I am COMPLETELY thrilled with this decision & I owe it to Eric Deitke and his professionalism, easy going attitude, understanding & putting my mind at ease!! I would recommend Eric to anyone interested in purchasing a Honda, in fact I have already "put the word out" to my friends, family,work and neighbors to stop in & ask for Eric!! Not only was Eric helpful in the decision and purchase of my new vehicle, but he tought me the ins and outs of the car, went over ALL information throughly, made my son and I very comfortable as we waited for final paperwork & getting the new car ready. Eric also followed up with me several times to make sure all was going well. I seen him a few times after the trade, to sign paperwork etc & he ALWAYS greeted me with a smile, asked about the car, family, holidays...he is a wonderful assett to your company & I hope he remains a member of the Thomas "family" for years to come!! I bought a used 2008 Chevy Tahoe from J. Magyar in October. I had written a personal check for my down payment. I asked that they hold the check until my sister who was purchasing my used car, until s October. I had written a personal check for my down payment. I asked that they hold the check until my sister who was purchasing my used car, until she could get her check from the credit union. I continously left messages on Tim Thomas's voice mail keeping him updated on the progress of her getting the loan/check. Well he never received my voicemails & I was told he had issues with his voicemail system. Since he didn't get my voicemails, he cashed my check and caused my bank account to be overdrawn charging me $370 in overdraft fees. After contacting the bank mgr & sales manager (John), the bank credited my $222 back to my account. There was still a balance of $148 left to pay. Per Tim Thomas, John the service mgr was going to do something about the $148 but he wasn't sure what yet, but he would get back to me. As of today I have heard nothing. I also asked if I could get a bug shield & mud flaps on the vehicle, which I was going to pay for. I was told they would check & get back to me. That they could not locate a bug sheild for a tahoe hybrid. I have yet to hear anything back. I had to contact my salesperson several times. There was no remote with my DVD player, only to find the radio/DVD/CD player didn't even work. Still have not rec'd the remote yet. While the service dept was checking to see why the radio didn't work the battery died, only to find that the battery was bad. Fortunately the service dept did put in a new battery with out charge & had to order a new radio to be put in. When they ordered the new radio, the service dept told me it would take about 3 days to come in, they would call me. Well 1.5 weeks went by no phone call, so I called and the radio was in. The radio now has been installed. To date the issue's I have had with the vehicle is. Bad Battery, radio/DVD/CD didn't work, no remote, The navigation system still doesn't work. Back window washer didn't work (hose was off). The tires were bad, service did replace them when I picked up the vehicle. Doesn't the service dept check the vehicles before putting them onto the lot? Fortuately, I do buy the extended warranties just in case, but I have never bought a used vehicle for $30,000 +++ and have this much trouble and no one follows up , however i keep getting recorded messages from Jim Molnar wishing happy birthday, happly holidays etc. Which I would like my name removed from that. I would like my $148 paid to me in a check, I do not want any services done. I am ordering my bug shield, window vents & mud flaps from another garage. I would like my navigation system also corrected & a remote for my DVD player. Sincerely Traca Lees More
