Mike showed complete professionalism from the time he took my call to schedule the appointment to the end of it. He handled an additional request I had on the day of (the state inspection), coordinated took my call to schedule the appointment to the end of it. He handled an additional request I had on the day of (the state inspection), coordinated round trip shuttle service to and from my home, updated me with calls, and handled all in less time than expected. Mike is not only a true professional, but a genuinely wonderful person in all respects. i will say that about Jack and Dino who also assisted me that day. Even the gentleman whom I shared a shuttle ride with was a joy to meet. And the fee for the services were very reasonable. More
We bought a used Chevy Traverse at this dealership. A week after we bought that vehicle, the air conditioner stopped working. We didn't take it in to the shop because it wasn't a big deal. Well, 3 we week after we bought that vehicle, the air conditioner stopped working. We didn't take it in to the shop because it wasn't a big deal. Well, 3 weeks ago, something started rubbing underneath the car and the stabilitrac sensor came on - along with that ABS sensor. We took it to the dealership and found out that it couldn't be fixed because the service department doesn't have the equipment needed to repair the Chevy - since they are a Ford Dealership. So, we went to a Chevy dealer and they told us what was wrong with the car - the list is too long and I probably won't have enough space on this page to list everything - however, we had told them that we had the extended warranty on the car. Well, conversations started with GWC (the warranty company) about the issues and an inspector went to the Chevy dealership to look over the vehicle. The representative said that they would cover the after-market cost of the parts. I was told that they don't use after-market parts and that we would have to cover the cost of the parts and any cost of the labor that they did not cover. When we got the car back, it cost us $1395.82. Labor was $319 and the parts charges were $1054.06 with a $22.36 sales tax. We only had the vehicle for 7 months and we dumped that much into it for repairs. I know that when buying used, you are taking a risk, however, Ford touts the inspection that they do on cars that they receive on the lot. When I read this on their website, "A used car at our dealership that isn't a CPO Ford comes with any factory warranty that may be left. Any additional warranty is either limited or must be purchased in our finance center. Every pre-owned vehicle on our lot is well-inspected, but not to the same level of thoroughness as a CPO Ford." I understand that my vehicle was not a CPO vehicle, but I was assured that it went through a thorough inspection before it went on the lot. However, when I was told that the service department didn't have the equipment to support Chevy vehicles, I have the feeling that the car was brought in, detailed and put on the lot outright. I feel like this dealership has deceived us with the sale of this car. I am really disappointed that I now have a car that still has no air conditioning and while driving it home the other night, the left side was still making a "rubbing noise" when we made left turns. Lastly, this morning, the battery was dead when we tried to start it, so if there is now a problem with the alternator, that will be an additional cost and we are now broke from this car. As it turned out, the battery is fine and rubbing noise that was on the left side of the vehicle was the fact that the tires were a size larger. So, I was sold a severely defective vehicle with oversized tires that were not comparable to the Chevy. One last note, I wrote to the dealership two days ago and received no response. That is why I am posting to here. If they would have simply responded to my feedback - with anything - I wouldn't have written this on here. They say that they respond to feedback, but, I guess not my feedback. I just wanted to put it out there that if you are in need of a vehicle, there are hundreds of other dealerships to go to. This is not the one. In conclusion, the reason why I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the salesman and the woman in financing were super sweet, so that is at least the positive with this post. More
