Sweeney does not back their product Overall this was a poor experience. We purchased a $30,000 vehicle from Sweeney and the check engine light came on for 3 unrelated problems within the Overall this was a poor experience. We purchased a $30,000 vehicle from Sweeney and the check engine light came on for 3 unrelated problems within the first month. The service department insisted that we owed a deductible even though the first problem occurred within 5 days of the purchase of the vehicle. Only after multiple phone calls to management and after nearly a week had passed did we finally get the deductible waived. The second time we took the vehicle in for service, 2 additional repairs were done but we were only told about one of them. The only way we knew about the 2nd repair is we were given a printout when we picked up the car that listed that it had be done and I asked the service department about it. I feel that it is unethical to make repairs without disclosing it to the owner. This situation was not handled well throughout the entire process, which is why we are giving Sweeney a negative review. More
Bad Service all the way around ! I dropped my wife's 2015 Chevy Trax (purchased new from Sweeney in 2015) off on Friday 10/11/19 due to an acceleration issue. Was contacted by "Jerry" I dropped my wife's 2015 Chevy Trax (purchased new from Sweeney in 2015) off on Friday 10/11/19 due to an acceleration issue. Was contacted by "Jerry" Monday 10/14. He stated that it looked like something was building a nest in the air cleaner compartment (which I found difficult to believe as this is my wife's daily driver) Regardless, I authorized a new air cleaner install at $130.00. Jerry called me on Tuesday 10/15 and said the car was still having acceleration issues after the air cleaner. I didn't hear from him again until Wednesday 10/16. He claimed they determined the cause was one spark plug and one coil wire wasn't firing. He quoted me $250 on top of the $130 to fix it. I hesitantly authorized the repair. I called Fri. 10/18. Jerry then claimed the problem was fixed, but he wanted to drive it home that evening to be sure. I authorized him to do that. I called Monday, 10/21. After a few attempts to speak to Jerry, he finally called me back. He stated that the car was still doing the same thing after he drove it home. I did not hear back until I called Wednesday 10/23 in which Jerry stated his Techs were stumped and trying to get a hold of GM Technical Support for help. Again, I didn't hear back until I called Monday 10/28. Jerry then claimed they think it may be the fuel injector(s). I did not authorize any other service until I knew for sure what the real problem was. I did not hear back until I called Wend. 10/30. Jerry told me that the parts (?) had not arrived yet. I did not hear back until Fri 11/01. Jerry said the problem was fixed and he was wrapping up the paperwork and would call me back later in the afternoon. He never called. I finally called Tuesday 11/5. After being placed on hold three times, another gentleman answered and told me Jerry was on vacation. He stated he didn't know what was going on with my car but he'd find out. He placed me back on hold. After a few minutes he informed me the car was done and I could pick it up at the cashiers window. When I asked him the total amount he stated he had to get a hold of Jerry and would call me back. He did call back after 5 minutes and said the cost was $382 but did not (or could not) tell me what they did. I picked the car up at 7:00 p.m. after writing a check for $382. After 3 1/2 weeks, my car was given back to me dirty on the outside and dusty on the inside with 1/2 tank of gas. ( Tank was full when I drooped it off on Friday 10/11 ). I am very upset, as I bought both my wife's Trax and my Colorado from Sweeney brand new in 2015 and 2016. I will never purchase another vehicle from them and I wouldn't take another vehicle in for a repair there if it died in front of the dealership. More

Buying my leased 2016 Buick LaCrosse Mitch Hulvalchick made it very easy for me to purchase my leased 2016 Buick LaCrosse. I had leased it from the Buick dealership on Elm Rd. in Trumbu Mitch Hulvalchick made it very easy for me to purchase my leased 2016 Buick LaCrosse. I had leased it from the Buick dealership on Elm Rd. in Trumbull County. I live in Cortland so this Buick dealership is closer. The last time I was there I felt that the service department was trying to take advantage of me (a woman). So I decided to drive to Sweeney Buick to finalize the purchase of my Lacrosse at my leases end. Mitch was very helpful in answering all my questions. Great Job, Mitch Hulvalchick! I also had my car detailed at Sweeney's and they did a better job than when I had it done a year ago at the Trumbull County Buick dealership. Thanks to Mitch H. for checking over the car when it was done to make sure it was perfectly done. And it was! More
