To get the exact Terrain you were looking for we had to do a Dealer trade. Unfortunately, the second set of keys got lost in the transfer and we had to order a new set of keys. It is disappointing to read about your unsatisfactory experience with our dealership. We tried to keep your repair costs down by having your vehicle fixed for much less than you would have paid elsewhere for the same work, even though your vehicle was out of warranty. Mac’s Automotive has informed us that they let you know that the pre-catalytic converter was not necessary and that most people don’t pay the extra cost to put it back on. They let us know that you were satisfied with the work at the time but said that they would take care of any trouble that you may have with the repair. We also contacted General Motors regarding your situation, and they have told us that there is nothing else we could do. Out-of-Warranty vehicles have no claim in this situation, and the customer must assume responsibility from that point forward. Thank you for your review.
