Extremely bad experience Napleton Lincoln of Blue Island. I was told a 2013 Lincoln MKT I purchased was great with best engine ever made. I was told the service department check it all out and good to do. It had Only 73k miles two owner vehicle. I purchased as a cash deal and put some money down. The dealership had to wait for my bank to send funds overnight however it was the holiday weekend. When the check was sent I get a call from Scott (my salesperson) telling during detailing( headlight/cleaning the vehicle "all of a sudden" the engine went bad lol. I just test drove it. So my bank sent the money and the deal was broken due to engine. HOWEVER, THE LINCOLN WAS still being advertised and went up $1500 bucks. I have NO - proof or evidence - but, they either sold the car from under me or they was intentionally going to sale me a bad car. A OBD scanner will tell you if any problems with the car ( i was told it checked out). So I would not trust this dealership if I was you! Not trustworthy. Not trying to be petty I had to go back to get a refund. They did refund me (no problem) but they did not refund the surcharge for using my credit card. $287.98 was refunded to me but they charged me $296.61. That in my opinion was disrespectful. So I'm guessing they dont respect customers or the dealership is money hungry to the point they could not refund the entire amount after wasting my time to test drive, buy the car and then tell me the engine bad/ and or the sold it from under me. At least a gift card or some type of reimbursement could have been offered for the inconvenience. If I can post the proof and evidence to prove they marked up the car I will. Instead the made $8.63 off me. Not being pretty but this is actually true.
First this is my 4th Lincoln thru Scott Burdelik with Napleton Lincoln Blue island. I purchased a 2025 Lincoln Nautilus premier hybrid with the jet package. This vehicle is Beautiful! And to top of off everything was done over the phone and electronic e sign( I live 90 miles west). Scott even delivered the vehicle to my place of choice( my home town). THANK YOU Scott once again! NAPLETON LINCOLN & SCOTT BURDELIK 100%!!
My experience was great at Napleton thanks to Scott he made us feel comfortable and was very professional and also made us feel like he knew us from a long time, we loved his attention he had towards us.
Scott and team made the car buying experience easy peasy. I called in the morning and got the ball rolling on what car I wanted, gave the info for my trade in, and everything was all set when I arrived. I was in and out in about an hour and a half. Majority of the time spent not on paperwork was learning all the tech in the 2024 nautilus. So happy that my first experience buying a brand new car went so smooth. Thank you to all at Blue Island for the hospitality!
