I went in with a pre-approval from my bank, found the Crosstrek I wanted, went over all the numbers with my trade-in, received a verbal agreement and went to sign the contract to bring to my bank, and an additional $400.00 was added. I was then gaslighted and made to look like it was my misunderstanding. There was no misunderstanding - I was flat out lied to! Do not purchase from Hello Subaru of Valencia. Extremely Distrustful! How about a Goodbye Subaru of Valencia?

Jayson was exceptionally caring and made my family and I feel welcomed. I had been looking for a used vehicle for awhile and this dealership was authentic, thorough, and helpful throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to purchase a Subaru!

Update. 08/25/24 went for a simple oil change. Still have 6/32 of tread on tires they recommended changing over 15k miles earlier. Also, recommended changing the rear brakes which I had replace about 9k miles earlier. Also claimed there was an oil leak and so the fuel pump which is done how connected to this needed replacement ($1016.00) we ended taking it to another dealer. None of this needed to be done. Do not take you Suburu to Hello Suburu of Valencia. Total sham!

So many good reviews. So strange because these people will absolutely lie to your face, over charge you like crazy and then be rude to you when you push back. This is the service department. I can't speak about their sales team. I have a big long story about how horrific they were to me that I'll be happy to share with anyone who asks but I'll try to sum up by saying they lied about what needed to be done because that would have been covered by the warranty (which they extended to cover their crappy CVT) and charged me for something they said would fix it. How am I so sure? Because I had two of the EXACT same vehicle and the exact thing happened to me 60 days ago. And to make it worse when they told me that I need a flush to fix my transmission and then they did that they THEN told me, oh no... I had to have new tires to fix my transmission also. What?! Just crooks. I will never own another Subaru. We had three and for a car that's supposed to be dependable, nothing but trouble from day one. Once you post a bad review they will tell you to email them. Which I did. A month ago now. Crickets.

After spending 3 weeks talking to this dealership and working out a deal, they sold the car right out from under me. They told me I had until midnight to sign the papers and at 7:00p.m. it had expired because they sold the car. I had even agreed to pay $850 to have the car shipped from their dealership in Valencia, California to Dallas, Texas. They loan was approved and everything!

Jonas Patingan was wonderful to deal with. Very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. We will definitely use him for our future car needs.
