What Others Say

Appointment times are a joke I scheduled an appointment at 11:30 and my car is still sitting waiting to be serviced When I asked why I was told that the appointment time is “to meet with an advisor on what needed done” They need to be a LOT clearer on expectations. Thinking I need to find a new place to get my car serviced So should you

Have had my wifes Toyota serviced at this location several times. They do okay work. The issue I'm having with them is if I call and want to talk to a rep in service department I'm told all of them are busy and someone would call me back and no one ever dose. This has happened several times. The issue I'm having is if you tell me someone will call back I do expect someone to do that . Have a system in place that someone gets the message and are not just standing or sitting around not doing nothing. I have an issue with being lied to and not shown me or my business is not appreciated. I was just going to let this go but I'm a little sick and tired of businesses/ corporations not giving value back to the consumer.

The folks at Lewis Toyota are exceptional in service! We are on a cross-country trip and our power steering went on the blink. We made it to Lewis Toyota and they got us in late in the afternoon, diagnosed the trouble, and had it fixed by midday the next day. All this while being unfailing kind and accommodating in every way. I'm so grateful that if we had to have this happen, it happened in Topeka! Thank you, thank you, Ray Brown and the rest of the team! You're my heroes! (Because we live in another state, we're not likely to buy a car from Lewis Toyota, but if we could, when the time comes, we definitely would! What a great dealership.)

I had my toyota in for Toyota Care oil change at 15,000 miles. After over an hour, they said it was done and handed me the printed inspection results, stating all tires were at 36 PSI, tread depth good, and brakes good. Upon entering the vehicle, the check tire pressure light was on and when I questioned the service advisor as to why they falsified the inspection, he just said they were busy and tech forgot to do it. When I further pressed the issue, stating he clearly signed off that tire pressure was a 36 PSI yet if he did that, it wouldnt have a light on, he just said he forgot and dismissed that his tech falsified documents....which make me worry they didnt actually do a full service they claimed they did and charged for. Brought this to service managers attention over a call and was told he would check camera and get back to me...which never happened. Toyota itself got involved and documented case, but they cant do anything to local dealer and dealer claims they reviewed cameras and apologized. DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION!!!! If they cant be bothered to check tire pressure and would rather lie in documents than that...who knows what else they are or arent doing on your vehicle.

My wife and I had a great experience purchasing our new Tundra from Lewis Toyota. We were flying in from out of state and our Salesman Oz had a car sent to pick us up in Kansas City and take us to the dealership. Oz was always available through the buying process as we awaited for our allocated truck to come in. We also worked closely with Niki LeDuc throughout the buying process, she never pushed us on add ons, but allowed us to make the best decision for our family. We love the New Army Green Tundra and are appreciative to the team at Lewis for their help during the purchase.

Oil change turned into a nightmare! We brought our Camry into Lewis Toyota for an oil change and tire rotation preparing to leave town the following day. On my commute to work the following day my car began to hesitate and when exiting the highway a huge amount of smoke came from the tail end of my vehicle, so much so that I couldn’t see anything behind me. I made it to the side of the road. We towed our car to another Toyota dealership where we were told that Lewis Toyota had overfilled our car by two quarts. The dealership that was working on my car contacted Lewis and they agreed to cover the repairs. There was oil everywhere including debris through the fuel system. When I received my car back six days later I was told I’d need to wait and see if anything else went wrong with it due to the overfill. The list of things that can be damaged is long including gasket, seals , sensors, Catalytic converter, crankshaft, fuel system issues to name a few. We had NOT even received a phone call from Lewis. I made contact with them as now I had a car that I commute and travel out of town for my job. I was now supposed to wait for the next issue to happen and Lewis would determine at that time if it was caused by the overfill or not. To keep me from being stranded or stuck with repairs that may fall in our lap we decided we had no choice but to get a different vehicle. We could not sell it outright as we could not in good conscience sell a vehicle with so many potential issues. Lewis said they would give us a “great” trade in value and a “deal” on a new vehicle which we had no choice but to go through Lewis as once again our options were limited due to the damage. Steve Ramer was the sales person which was NOT a good experience at all. The good deal Lewis promised us ended up being sticker price and trade in value ended up being $4000 less than they posted our car for the following day. Mind you they posted our vehicle the following morning after we dropped it off the evening before, which means they didn’t have time to do a lot, if anything to check for other issues even though we told them in an email, in person and over the phone that the car was still hesitating at times. They also listed our car with 10,000 less miles than it actually had. Needless to say we will NEVER use Lewis Toyota for anything ever again.
