I'll try to keep this short. We ordered a factory order brand new 2023 Range Rover in January 2022 and placed a $2,500 deposit. We waited patiently for the car to arrive 10 months later in October 2022. We explored different financing options - lease, buy, and ended up securing our own pre-approval with financing from our bank. We arranged an appointment to meet in person to walk through everything in person and get an appraisal on our 2019 Range Rover as trade-in. Before we even got there they had sold our custom ordered car from under us for a huge mark-up to some poor sucker. They sold it literally an hour before we got there knowing full well we were coming in later. They sold our car while still holding our cash as a deposit. WIth no other Range Rovers in the state of California in the spec we wanted, we bought out our lease. I am disgusted we purchased a car from them. This would have been our 4th full-size Range Rover and the beginning of what could have been a long relationship with Marin. What they did was so short-sighted, extraordinarily unethical and reflects extremely poorly on the Land Rover brand. A little digging and already we've found lots of other customers who have experienced major issues with this dealership group. I implore you to avoid Land Rover Marin at all costs.
