What Others Say

I had a great experience purchasing my cpo 2023 VW Arteon from Gorman McCraken and their sales person Ms TJ Dade . This was an online purchase which can be stressful from 700 miles away but TJ made the process easy . She was always available to answer my numerous questions, helped with the shipping to Georgia ,and even did a FaceTime call with me showing me the car as a storm approached . She also continued to help me with issues even after the sale had been completed. TJ was A+!! Overall dealership experience was great. I especially appreciated not having a bunch of unrequested add on expenses at the end like many of my local Georgia dealers often do . Would be very comfortable purchasing another car from this dealer.

Drove 2 hours to have an update that was scheduled but it wasn't available yet, but service center did notify me in advance that it was available.

Unfortunately, this dealership is padding their Google reviews by preying on customers. A family member had a personal cell phone taken by a salesman (Mr. Allen) who proceeded to rate himself 5 stars on Google on my family member's account. This is an unethical business practice and should not happen. Also, they did not even bother to help my relative set up the bluetooth phone connection with the newly purchased car. I am unhappy with the lack of professionalism here.

It seemed to be a good dealership who offered a good deal price, until......I stated that I had my own financing company and was already approved. That's when the salesman changed the price stating the vehicle was going to be one thousand dollars more expensive. He stated that if we were not going to be financing with their company and use our own, then we would have to pay a thousand dollars more on the vehicle's advertised value. I told the salesman that we did not deal with crooks and decided to take our business elsewhere. This dealership is now scratched out from our list of potential sellers. Buyers beware, you may be in for a disappointing experience if you believe they will honor the price they advertise.

I bought a Truck from them in 2022. Worst deal I ever made. The manger is involved with a company thats suppose to help build you credit after bankruptcy, and pretty sure the finance department is involved as well. They screwed up my credit and made it even worst. As far as the truck bad tires almost cost me and my wife our lives when one blew out on a busy interstate. Then I found out the other one in front had a bubble on it. This was 3 weeks after I bought the truck. There was more things as well. Then I went back to talk to them very rude. Dont go there.

Mazda was offering a 0.9% APR for a CX-50. The Mazda would go to my son in two years and than I would purchase another new Mazda. My father and I started working with Ray McMurrey on Monday Eve. Ray kept running back/forth to the back and eventually a trade-in amount was established for my 22' Bronco and a $6000 trade for a Harley Davidson. By the next morning Ray was communicating again. I advised him I wanted a copy of the dealer worksheet so I could run the numbers. He provided written numbers due to a system being down. The numbers reflected what we had agreed on, so I accepted the deal. EOD I received a call from Ray advising they could not honor the trade on the motorcycle and offered $2000 less. I declined and advised I wanted to cancel the deal. He called, making multiple offers. I reluctantly accepted $5,500. Finally by this point, just being exhausted w/ it all. I received another call with multiple men on it, advising the dealer worksheet would show $6000 trade for the bike and a $500 fee for five "free" oil changes, which I argued, these are not free, they are $500 out of my pocket or a $8 @ 60mths loss for me. Finally in finance.. the dealer worksheet had a "Service Contract" charge of $1,595?! Which essentially put the bike trade back to $4,405. I was so taken back by this deception. "Cody" then popped up essentially calling me and his own salesman a liar. He argued that what was discussed between Ray and I was irrelevant. He told me, at some point in the last group call, he had mentioned this $1,595 charge? Why would I decline a $4000/$5000 offer for the bike, but accept this? It was crazy! We were then ushered into Reggie's/GM's office, which he had completely disappeared at this point, Ray offered up his $200 commission trying to make things right. Ray was a STAR of a salesman, and to watch him be gaslighted by his own manager was disgusting. I walked out on the deal and purchased a new 2024 bronco the very next day w/ zero hassle and zero deception at Elliott Auto Group in MP!
