What Others Say

great service by Jeff Mayo excellent and helpful and friendly, Dearl Riddle says thank you

Called for a used car that didn't have any pictures available. Rep confirmed that the car is available, promised to send pictures/ videos and disappeared. An hour later I asked if he forgot about me and responded that the car was already sold. Unprofessional and careless.

This dealership had my 2020 GMC Terrain for my entire Spring semester at TTU and when I finally got a phone call to pick it back up it had sat for so long the battery was ruined and could not even be jumped. We had to pay out of pocket to have a new one installed. The car died on me after I pulled out of the dealership on my way back to my dorm. Then, after replacing the battery, my car still would not start unless buttons on the door were hit in a special sequence (and still would not work every time). Once I finally got it to my hometown dealership, they discovered even more issues such as fuses pulled out of the fuse box which were not there before taking it to Frank Brown, and wires that had been cut in error that could have caused serious issues if not discovered in time. Myself and the hometown dealership both tried to start the vehicle, and eventually discovered the fuses and cut wires caused the trouble. My hometown dealer then had it for a month or so fixing all of the issues that this dealership caused. Fast forward to now, the same car is having issues with the AC and the whole compressor needs to be replaced which would cost us over $3,000. This was caused due to an overcharging of coolant. After looking through maintenance reports, our hometown dealer discovered that Frank Brown GMC were the ones who over-charged the coolant when my car was there in 2023. Now that we know they caused it, we called them to explain what is going on and that these issues were directly related to the work that they performed. Frank Brown is refusing to take responsibility for this and expects us as the customers to foot the bill, despite the issue being their fault. They clearly had no issues leaving a young college girl without a car for months and then giving it back to me knowing I had a 4 hour drive with a ruined battery and cut wires. They are continuing to leave me without a vehicle, but this time will not even own up to their mistakes. No accountability whatsoever. They stated today that they are "washing their hands" of us and that this is not their problem. Would not recommend this place at all.
