What Others Say

The staff at Fields JDCR are top notch! The purchase experience for my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L from start to finish was stress free. Fields does not utilize shady, deceptive, and unscrupulous tactics that other dealers use. I truly felt that sales consultant Keyon had my needs and interests in mind. I cannot recommend these guys enough! Thanks to everyone involved in the transaction!

I moved to the area in 2020, and started servicing my Charger at Fields. They were great! Friendly, fast, always fixed the first time. If the car ever needed to stay more than a day, I always got a loaner, or at least a quick shuttle over to Enterprise, complimentary. But late 2022, early 2023, things started to change. Communication with them plummeted. I'd have to constantly call them to even find out if my car was done. It took them 3 times to finally fix my water pump. (I did water pumps in high school, shouldn't be that hard). In the Fall of 2023, I was ready to shop for a Jeep product, and decided to check out Fields. I was walking around in there for at least 15min, and nobody even bothered to come say Hi. I was clearly "shopping." After that I left, and bought a Grand Cherokee elsewhere. In early 2024, the Grand Cherokee had some recalls come through. I took it to Fields since they're the closest, and I got a whole bunch of attitude for "not buying the car from them" but they'll take care of the recall anyway because it's a factory safety issue. According to Jeep Wave, I should get a loaner, since they needed to keep the car all day. I asked about a rental then from Enterprise, and with much attitude they said "fine, we'll drive you over there, but we need to authorize it first. If it's not authorized, the rental is on your own dime." Of course it was authorized by FCA but it took Enterprise forever to get the ok. Even the Enterprise manager said that Field's has been particularly difficult to deal with the past couple years. What a miserable dealership. It's really too bad, they used to be great. I'm never going there again nor will think of purchasing from them.

I don’t recommend getting service here. They told me I needed a new blower motor to fix a rumbling noise that happened every time I turned the air on and that it would cost over $700. It’s clear they didn’t even inspect the blower motor before contacting me because I went home, figured out how to access the motor myself, and found a leaf inside. Getting rid of the leaf solved the problem. I recently had additional service done here and now believe it was likely also unnecessary.

I recently had my first maintenance service (oil change and tire rotation) for my 2024 Jeep Wrangler SAHARA @ FIELDS CDJR on March 13, 2024 a little after 1:00 pm. My service advisor Angelina provided an Excellent customer service. She’s Professional, Knowledgeable and very Pleasant to work with. I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Paul (Parts Manager) for providing Excellent service last Oct. 7, 2023. He went above and beyond to make sure the Gas Cap with lock cylinder that I purchased was set up for my Key Fob for added security before driving to New Jersey for my Spartan Race. Thank you. Also a shout out to my Sales Rep. Keyon (I love my 2024 SAHARA, sorry I missed you when I was there March 13th, Wednesday) and also a shout out to Kat (Finance Manager). Thanks to all of you for being a BIG part @ FIELDS CDJR Glenview. See you all next time. God Bless.

I purchased a certified pre owned (CPO) Jeep from Fields. At the time of purchase, there were items that needed to be addressed and the GM (Mike Torre) agreed and set an appointment for the items which needed to be fixed, including the vehicle hood which was part of a Class-Action lawsuit recall that had not been addressed. On 1/7/24, I brought my car in as scheduled and was told, when I came to get my vehicle, that replacement of the hood would not be honored because the previous lessee "must have been in an accident" and had it fixed and a missing "anti corrosion sticker" which voided the recall by Jeep. This goes against the Jeep CPO policy which states that paint is inspected and covered. I then took the vehicle to another certified Jeep body shop who informed me that there is no such thing as the aforementioned sticker and that the hood was both a factory hood AND factory paint. They said that it was covered under the Jeep recall and has been submitted for repair. Fields fraudulently sold a car as CPO, and did not follow the policy for coverage under the CPO policy nor under the recall class action, but instead offered for me to pay them for repairs which were agreed upon at the time of purchase. FIELDS RESPONSE: Our process is to send the vehicle to the body shop for the professional opinion of the condition of the customer's concern . This vehicle has had the hood replaced/painted, as the label is not in the correct position that it comes in from the factory . The label has been removed & reinstalled at some point . The factory clear coat is no longer on the hood of this vehicle per the professional opinion of our body shop . The corrosion warranty process requires an estimate & pictures to show proof to the factory that there's a defect or corrosion to be approved & the claim paid by the manufacturer. We must follow those guidelines. We do not know what the outcome of the customer's concern until the inspection has been done & reported back to us as the end result from the body shop. We will not be able to perform a warranty repair on the hood because it no longer has the factory clear coat. MY RESPONSE: I am rejecting this response because: Fields responded that they took pictures of the vehicle (LIE), they supplied them to Jeep (LIE), I am the SECOND owner of this vehicle and I should NOT be held responsible for the actions of the previous owner/lessee of the vehicle. Fields should honor the Jeep CORPORATE, certified, Pre-owned policy on the jeep.com website https://www.jeep.com/certified-pre-owned.html I have been trying to reach the General Manager (voicemail tag is being played) FIELDS BRUSH OFF RESPONSE: I've spoke to Mr. Dryman in detail about the situation . He's going to have the vehicle taken to another facility to do the work he's looking for. MY RESPONSE: I am rejecting this response because: The dealership needs to accept responsibility for its actions and admit that they lied to me about multiple items related to this case. Yes, I am taking the car to another Chrysler-Certified body shop in the Chicago area because I do not trust Fields to touch my car as they have proven their worth. They got their one and only sale from me, my friends, or family. This will change and reflect my review of their dealership and their business practices. They will not admit that they violated the Jeep Certified Pre-Owned policy that is on Jeep's website. Jeep customer care has CONFIRMED with me that Fields never sent in pictures. They only opened the claim and then closed it stating the sticker movement, not factory paint, etc. They never once provided pictures to Jeep. But again, since they cannot accept their fault and their lies, that's fine.

Very good place to come and buy a car and service your car as well.
