Sold me a lemon 🍋 2015 Volvo XC60 Purchased 8/2024 the car has been to the shop 6 times for engine misfires. Was not allowed to go over 35mph on test drive or go on the highway. I'm convinced that they knew about the engine misfires, the brakes that needed replacement, the crack in the center of the windshield and the heater that did not work but disclosed none of this and I was forced to purchase the car as is. The car was missing a actual key and I had to fight them to get one. Then they wanted to charge me for it and I refused. Don't believe a word these people say, they will do anything to sell a broken car.
Nightmare getting the title, Then Bill of sale was from AP Fairfax but the title was from a different company. DMV would not register or title the car. AP Fairfax said they would fix the problem. They have not. Stay away from this sham of a company
Mr. Max owns this used Car Dealership. His son Ali has an adjoining business and does wheel work in the back of his father's dealership. If any of Max's used cars need wheel work, Ali does it. I called Ali on 11/23 for help with a cracked wheel that was leaking air (diagnosed by Mr. Tire). He told me to drop the Car off on Thanksgiving and he would repair it Friday. I told him it was important to have it done fast, but correct because I was moving and driving my car to Texas the next week with my 4 year old daughter. He understood and said he'd call me the next morning. By Friday at noon, I hadn't heard from Ali. I called him, he said the repair would be done by the end of the business day 5pm. At 4pm, I go down to the shop. He is in disarray and disheveled. The place is a mess. He walks me across the hall to his father's dealership to show me that his weld machine is broken/clogged and he needs to fix it before he can repair my car. He charged me $225 for the repair. I drove across country with my baby on what I now learn was a shotty weld job. See link to the video that I took at the Goodyear Service Center, when my tire went completely flat, Less than a month after Ali's "repair". I had to take it to another repair shop and get a rental car during the holidays. They were also astonished at the poor weld job. One tech said. This person is not a welder. He just has a weld machine. I called Ali to request a refund. I sent him pictures and the video. He refused. He said should have driven my car back to Virginia FROM TEXAS (where I now reside) for him to take a look at it. Thank God that I didn't end up stranded on the side of the highway with my baby, or even worse a accident from a blow out. Please don't take your car here if you value your money or your life. Here is a link to the video of Goodyear Service Center talking about this weld job. https://photos.app.goo.gl/fDKdgooVjpPa5tYN6
I I purchased an S65 2007, it took 60 days to get tags, and DON'T BELIEVE the lies. The service work that should have been done at the time of purchase was not performed check the engine light went off only to come back on again. They took my money with no problem but the service to get my car corrected or to get my tags was horrible.
Never contacted me, sent a "follow up" email begging for a good review and claiming they had irrefutably offered me "top-notch" customer service. Found a truck at a dealership in North Carolina, glad I wasn't limited in choices because I don't trust this dealership to sell me a car much less care after.
Problem after problem with expenses for me vehicles not being serviced! Get car inspected B4 buying.
