recently had the pleasure of purchasing my new Volvo XC60 from Volvo
Cars North Miami, and I felt compelled to share my experience. From the
moment I stepped onto the lot, the atmosphere was refreshingly different
from other dealerships I've visited.
My sales consultant, Gio Salazar, was an absolute professional. She
was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire Volvo lineup, but more
importantly, she genuinely listened to my needs and preferences. I came
in with a pretty clear idea of what I wanted (the XC60 Recharge with the
Bowers & Wilkins sound system was a non-negotiable for me), and Gio
didn't try to push me towards something else. Instead, she focused on
finding the exact configuration I was looking for, even going so far as
to check inventory at sister dealerships when the specific color I
wanted wasn't immediately available.
The test drive was thorough and informative. Gio pointed out key
features I might have missed on my own and encouraged me to truly
experience the car's handling and technology on both surface streets and
the I-95 stretch nearby. It wasn't just a quick loop around the block;
it felt like a genuine opportunity to get acquainted with the vehicle.
Where Volvo Cars North Miami truly shone for me was in the transparency
of the negotiation process. There was no back-and-forth "manager's
special" theatrics. They presented their best offer upfront, and while
we did discuss a few minor adjustments, it was done in a very
straightforward and respectful manner. The finance department, led by Ms.
Rivero, was equally efficient. He clearly explained all the options
without any high-pressure sales tactics for extended warranties or
additional services, allowing me to make informed decisions.
The delivery process was also very thoughtful. The car was meticulously
detailed, and Gio spent a good hour with me going over all the
infotainment features, setting up my Volvo ID, and explaining the Volvo
On Call app. It’s the little things, like her making sure my phone was
paired and that I understood how to use the adaptive cruise control,
that really made a difference.
The only minor point I'd mention, and it's truly minor, is that parking
on a busy Saturday afternoon can be a little tight, but the staff was
quick to direct me to an available spot.
Overall, I highly recommend Volvo Cars North Miami. Their commitment to
customer service, knowledgeable staff, and transparent process made
buying my new car a genuinely pleasant experience. I'm already looking
forward to my first service appointment, confident that I'll receive the
same level of excellent care.

I don't know who is in charge of this place, but they are literally the best. I had a really nice car leasing experience here, two leases in a row, nice price and terms, overall really like Volvo... but the icing on the cake is my recent experience with the service department.
For some reason, I was having some issues with sensors in my car popping up on the dashboard. I took it in, they looked at it, quickly gave me a fresh loaner, brand new XC40 (man that thing is zippy!), and I was on my way.
The new sensor delivery took longer than expected, this was around the holiday times, and Juan Mesa at customer service kept me updated perfectly. He expected quicker turnaround, told me the bad news when there was a delay, didn't sugar coat it, and just kept me up to date.
We are getting the car back today, and I don't know if I explained it properly, but Juan's overall demeanor and just being on top if it was refreshing, as most companies aren't like that these days!!!
