We were on a road trip from Indianapolis to Washington DC in our Honda Pilot that we had just purchased 2 months ago. We had a "transmission temperature too high" This was the second time we experienced this. The first was a month ago and we returned to our dealership where we bought it and they SAID that we were just a quart low on transmission fluid and that we would be fine. Needless to say they will be receiving a scathing letter. Not only did they overflow the fluid which contributed to the problem today, they lied about having done the recalls and lied about the car having a tow package. (We were not towing today but were last month when it first happened) Ryan at Bill Marine took us, got us in right away even though they were busy today and got the transmission completely flushed and took care of the recalls and even saved us over $200 by having Honda cover a large portion of the problem. He was very honest and upfront with us about what was going on and got us on our way in a couple hours, back to our vacation. He even told us what we need to do when we get back home to get it safe to tow for the next time even though they would not get the business since we are out of town. Thank you for your kindness, understanding our urgency, your honesty, and your quality service! We appreciate you making us safe again!
