Terrible, I waited 20 days for a dent repair. Went to pick up car on a Saturday during store hours (dropped off by Enterprise) and they weren't even open. What a joke!
I was recommended from Mercedes of Calabasas to have my car worked on around the end of December 2011. My Mercedes E350 is my baby and I am very particular about who touches it. When I was recommended to AW Collision, I was informed that they were the authorized body shop for the dealership so I felt secure about it. When I arrived, I was greeted quickly and Jeff was there right away to help me and he looked over my car and was very honest (I would be needing work on the back corner of my car). I asked a few questions and they called Enterprise for me. I was in a rush because I was on my work break and they did everything possible to help me get back to work. What I loved about this shop (as opposed to others I have dealt with) is that they called me on a regular basis so I never had to wonder or worry about my car. The repair took about 2 weeks and when it was done, I returned to the shop, picked up my car, and have been very happy since. You would never even know I was in an accident.
My dealership at 101 Acura steered me into this shop for what appeared to be a minor rear bumper hit. The car was completely disected and sat not worked on at all for over a month. Jeff (manager) said the car will sit until the insurance carrier pays his supplement demands. I wanted to move my car but he showed me that the work order that I signed in good faith without reading the fine print states that he is entitled to be paid serious dollars if removed by my choice without repair completion. I contacted Acura 101 west who referred me there originally and Ali,the sales manager, stated that there was nothing they could do about it as it is not a shop owned by them at all and my problems were between me, the insurance company and the shop. I was led to believe the shop was part of Acura's ownership. It seems like Jeff was just trying to do anything that he could to make the final cost of the repair as high as possible no matter how long it took.My rental car allowance ran out before I could get my car back.I asked the dealership why they keep recomending this shop and the candid answer was because the shop pays the dealership for referrals and it's all business to them.I did notice after awile that all of the cars in the body shop were still there as long as mine was.
