What Others Say

I was looking at a used Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing that the dealership had on the lot for about a month before I came in. They had the car listed at over $71,000 with over 20,000 miles on it. The brakes and rotors looked like they had been abused and there were terrible swirl marks in the paint. After a short test drive I tried to negotiate the price with the salesman, noting my prior observations of the car. The salesman did his salesman thing and said that they could not go lower than $70k. I left only to come back a few days later for a second look at the car and a longer test drive. One of the salesmen told me to leave my key on the desk (I had thought this was due to me requesting a longer test drive). Long story short, I came back from the test drive to find my car missing. The other salesman had taken it for a drive to appraise it, even though I said nothing about wanting an appraisal at this point and had given NO ONE permission to drive my car (it was an AMG Mercedes with over 500 hp). Needless to say, I was not happy at this point. The sales manager came out to try to smooth things over so I told him to see what he could do on the price and to get back to me. I never heard from them again. A month later that same car is still at the dealership for 5 or 6 thousand less than it was originally listed for. Not only did the salesman lie about what he could do on the price, but they also took my car without permission. Completely unprofessional!

My wife and I purchased a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder SV on 12/4/2023. The car had 2 repairs needed - a new windshield, and a plate on the liftgate that housed the camera and hatch release buttons. We were given a discount to cover the cost of getting the windshield repaired ourselves, and were ensured that the liftgate part should arrive early the following week. We are now 13 days out, and the part still has not arrived. Also - we were told that the vehicle had been through a 155 point inspection, but when we got home, we noticed that they hadn't emptied the glove box, since there was a stack of the previous owners' papers in there, including a packet of personal checks. Also, one of the battery terminals was completely corroded and had to be replaced. Finally, one of the key fobs given to us didn't even go with the vehicle. We haven't reached out to the Louisiana DMV yet, but are also a bit concerned about a large fee that were charged, as well as an optional Gap fee that we were unclear about. Quite honestly, our salesperson was just encouraging us to electronically sign all of the purchase documents without reviewing them in detail. After purchasing a battery, key fob, front/rear brakes and rotors, and having the tires balanced and wheels aligned, for a total of $600.00+, we now have a decent vehicle.

Baldwin motors is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with!! I inquired about a vehicle they had on their website, and I was instantly messaged by Alex that the vehicle was available and he would have the keys ready for me to test drive. I let him know that I had over an hour drive to get there. I drove an hour and a half to the dealership and when I got there I was told that they could not sell the vehicle to me because there was a recall on the cameras. There were 5 of these certain vehicles in the car lot!! Something is definitely shady about this dealership. I would stay far AWAY from them!

Baldwin motors is the worst dealership I have ever delt with. Sorry service department they do not care about the customer. Stay AWAY from them Fair warring!!!!!!!! James B Hall jr Bogalusa La

Baldwin Subaru is Covington, Louisiana is the most dishonest and disgusting car dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! After receiving an email stating a asking price I agreed upon, I received confirmation that the deal was accepted and I was in route to purchase the vehicle, I received an email stating that a customer came in and purchased the vehicle I had a written agreement on. All they will say is they are sorry but they had a customer in the store that wanted that vehicle. To further complicate matters more, once I had agreed to the purchase, I made contact to sell my current vehicle to another vendor. So now the only thing Baldwin Subaru has offered me is their apologies. Absolutely, terrible customer service!!!

Tyler is very good to work with. We will do business with him again in the future. Thank you again for your professionalism and the time you took to help us as we searched for the right outback to fit our needs!
