What Others Say

I would like it if it were possible to give the service department a zero-star rating. We have bought four cars from this dealership, all from Marlos. Marlos is a 10-star-rated salesperson. We trust him, and his customer service is off the charts! Now, back to the service department- rude, disrespectful, condescending, etc. We trusted them, and they failed MISERABLY!!! Through all our recalls and service maintenance, they FAILED to do an alignment on our 2024 brand new EV9. Their reasoning is that we didn't specifically ask for it (it is in their computer system and service maintenance plan to do so), and THEY knew what needed to be done! Our tires went bald at 21,000 miles. Their response: tires aren't covered. Had to call KIA customer care, who instructed them to file a warranty claim on the tires (and yes, I have email proof), and they didn't, but would happily sell me new tires for buy three get one free!!!! I called to speak to the GM, but there is still no response. It is regrettable that a place with incredibly excellent salespeople like Marlos has such a crappy service department. We have had to use Kia's customer care for basically everything.

Bait and switch pricing. They bumped up the price of the listed car "because it's certified used" so they cover it w a full warrenty- alright, I can almost understand adding 5% for that, but roll it in to the original listed price. Next was the edgeguard, pulse collision protection, and ikon services, at $1697 for the three to be added to a used car. Dude, that was already covered when the car was first sold. I dont want to enroll in those. Non negotiable. Then the salesman got all upset that we were lowballing him when we wouldnt pay those mark ups. Like- I was willing to pay the 400 doc fee, the utah property tax fee 125(even though utah doesnt charge it), but for you to be upset and claim that you'll just sell it to carmax for 2k more than the price you were offering us, lol. I mean, the car has been for sale for 5 months, good luck with that. Take your business elsewhere.

I'm writing this review, so someone else doesn't have the same problem we had. My daughter bought a 2023 Kia Sportage a year ago. She loved the car, until around November of 2023 She noticed a shaking in her car when she would braked. She took it in to the dealership to have them look at it. The car had 13,800 miles on it. She was told her front brakes were totally gone and her front rotors where gone too. Then they said its not under warranty and it would cost $1500 to replace both. I was fuming mad how can a brand new car have to have this much work done on it. The answer is that they put crappy cheap parts on it when she bought the brand new car. I will never purchase a Kia ever again. It was the first Kia and certainly the last. Kia and the dealership should've replaced this for free. We ended up paying around $525.00 we shouldn't of paid anything. Buyer Beware Don't by a Kia. Especially from Wasatch Front Kia. They have lost a customer forever.

The salesman assigned to us at Wasatch Front Kia, Cole, was everything you expect from a sleazy car lot guy. He was pushy, didn't listen to what we were saying, and was condescending to my spouse, all while acting like he was our only chance for a stellar deal. And even when it came to pricing, he was very non-committal about anything. He wouldn't give me a solid number, despite my asking repeatedly, and he kept at it, even after repeatedly telling me that his sales manager was "ready to deal and move these cars off the lot." (roll eyes) He even tried the old car-lot ploy: "What do I need to do to earn your business and take this car home today?" (facepalm) Well gee, Cole, I dunnno. Maybe tell me what your best offer is the first three times I ask? Maybe stop being a clueless jerk who clearly only cares about his commission? Maybe listen to people and at least pretend that you care? We took our business elsewhere, but it says something pretty bad about Wasatch Front Kia and how they train their people. We won't be back.

Bought a car thru this dealership. We were financed, and had signed all paperwork. When we were turning in our “trade in”, finance guy instantly says oh we put in the wrong mileage for your vehicle so it’s going to cost you more. We told finance guy we had discussed mileage with 2 associates and had said it was 117k. We never told them it only had 17k miles on it. He responded with well our guy messed up but you gotta understand where I’m coming from. We refused to pay more so they canceled the contract saying we were unable to get financing, total crap with our 840 credit score. The dealership employees never even apologized. We wasted three hours there and had our credit pulled for nothing. I would steer clear of this dealership!

Blake Stevens truly helped us get into a newer 2018 sportage, after mine broke down outside of Yremerton, Utah. We are from Oregon and stranded. Wasatchftont kua is going to try to repair the 2015,. We are a family of 4 and had no way back to Oregon. We could not stay until car could be fixed. Blake Steven's and Wasatchfront are very spectacular in our opinion .
