What Others Say

Recently purchased a Cx5 touring. We worked with Nate Woodcock and he was so easy to work with. Very knowledgeable, not pushy and an all around nice guy!! Give the man 5 stars! We couldn't be more pleased with our new vehicle. This is our 5th Mazda, 4 of them purchased at Lancaster Mazda. Need I say more?!

So i have a 2018 CX-5. We were talked into a platinum level 7 yr extended warranty when we bought it. We had an issue with the plastic on the side of the driver's seat coming loose due to the clips not holding. Had it replaced under manufacturer's warranty once. It has since come off again. Went to dealer a second time. This time they claimed that "clips" were not covered under extended warranty and just re-attached it this time while charging me $23 for labor. Well, a week later it came off a third time. Went back and this time I spoke with service writer named Jeff for the second time. He said that they put a nut and bolt in place of the clip. However, this is the part that really fired me up. Jeff claimed that the way we get in and out of the car is what keeps popping this plastic on the side of the seat. Curious how you are supposed to get in and out of the car seat so you don't break it. Jeff proceeds to tell me he sees creasing on the outside cushion of both front seats. I asked, if that's the case and we are getting out of both sides incorrectly, why isn't the passenger seat breaking? He couldn't answer. He then said that replacing the part won't fix the problem, yet this is exactly what they did the first time this happened (under warranty). He then proceeded to say that the extended warranty does not cover "trim and molding" while claiming that the side of the seat is "trim and molding" in an effort to avoid replacing the part again. Well, it is odd that they replaced the part under the manufacturer's warranty, yet won't replace anything under the $850 extended platinum warranty they scammed us into buying for nothing apparently. So, the bottom line according to Jeff in service is that mazda builds such a cheaply built vehicle that unless you get out of the car in just the prescribed manner, the seat breaks on you and it is, therefore, your fault. Bottom line is, they have lost a customer over a damned piece of plastic on the side of the driver's seat. If my warranty doesn't help me, there is no reason to ever go back to the dealership. I can get service and maintenance done elsewhere cheaper. Loyalty works both ways. And when it's time to replace this vehicle, I will be looking elsewhere. All over a piece of plastic and their unwillingness to stand behind their product. My money spends everywhere. I will take it somewhere that appreciates my business.

After visiting two other Mazda dealerships with bad experiences almost gave up in the search to find a Cx-30. Called in and spoke to Nate, wanted to make sure the vehicle was there before driving an hour to Lancaster. As soon as we spoke to him I could tell we were going to have a great experience just from the phone call. He was quick, courteous and professional. We stopped in took a test drive (he has the MOST knowledge about the Mazda line of anyone I have talked to) told them what I wanted for my trade. Came back with numbers at exactly what I was looking for. Worked with Emily in finance. The whole time we were laughing, joking around, and having a great experience. If you're looking for a Mazda give them a shot and work with these two you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Nate and Emily for everything!

I purchased by 2017 CX-5 Grand touring from this dealership recently after seeing a listing for the car online. I was able to quickly schedule a time to come in and test drive. I worked with Taylor. She was very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy at all. Any questions I had that she didn't know the answer to, she followed up with me expediently. I can't say the same of other dealers I worked with. Their counter offer to my original offer was reasonable and I feel I got a good price for my vehicle. I also had asked to install the Apple Carplay upgrade prior to picking up the car and Taylor had it taken care of before I had to follow up. I had a small clip in the trunk break after picking up my car. I texted Taylor and she had a replacement piece ordered and delivered the next day. When I picked up the piece, someone from the repairs department came out and installed it for me after I had asked for a tool to do it myself. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Lancaster Mazda and would definitely recommend buying from them in the future.

Lancaster Mazda Service is the best. Just recently, my son Ryan's Mazda 3 brokedown, and was disabled due to battery and drive belts. AAA towed the car to Lancaster Mazda at night. The next day, I worked with Jeff and Todd, and they were amazing. They got the car in that day, a busy Friday, and had it fixed and ready to be picked up at the end of the day. Ryan was then able to make it to work on Saturday. I have never been disappointed by Lancaster Mazda, they are awesome, and Jeff and Todd are Saints. They go above and beyond the call of duty, and I greatly appreciate it ... Gary Craig ... :-)

Traded our cx9 on a New GM product.Had time left on the extended warranty we purchased so we came in to do the paper work on the pro-rated rebate.Gave the business manager our paper work,he copied it and told us someone would be with us shortly.45 minutes later no one showed up.I walked over to the business office and observed at least 6 or so people enjoying lunch. After making contact with the business manager again,he said they were "goofing off" and forgot about us Shortly after that the finance manager had us sign a paper and we left very unhappy. Not that it matters but after buying 3 new vehicles from this dealership it was my last. Your service dept.is top notch.Nick always treated us with a very professional attitude and always made us feel welcome.I guess the only way your business and finance people treat folks with due respect is if they are buying a vehicle. After doing business with you dealership over the past 10 years my purchases didnt mean alot. Thanks John Zimmerman
