I have probably had the worlds worst experience at this dealer in the last day. It all started this morning when I had an appointment at 7:30 (for which I was 15 minutes early) to drop my car off. Which is a 2012 Fiat 500. I got there and the person at the desk didnt tell me any ETA or anything like that, for which I expected because I didnt really know the problem in the first place. The real issues started around 11:30 AM when I called to check on my car, but when I did I came to find out that NOTHING had been done on my car because they only had 2 techs that can work on my car. I took it as a mistake, and continued on my day. I called again about 3:30 or so and asked the same thing, and this time I was told the same thing "they havent gotten to it yet" and I began to get a little bit upset. About 4:30 rolled around and me and my wife decided that we just needed to cut our losses and go to a different service center to get the work completed in a timely manner. I called Eiris (the gentlemen that I had been talking too each time) and told him this and he said "I will just park it across the street at Best Buy with the keys locked in it" which I accepted because we needed our car back. We did tell him it would be later in the evening, for which he said that was fine. We finally got there to pick it up about 8:45 PM but the car was still in the lot. We were lucky enough to find one of the gates still open so we could get our car out. We went in, got in our car, and started to leave. There were two gentlemen standing outside of what looked like the service back entrance so we asked them for our other key that they had, and refused because "they were locked up" and pretty much just told us tough luck. When asked why they didnt do anything with the car they told us "6 people called in, so we were short handed" and this just seems like a cop out and they just didnt want to tell us that they forgot about it or something like that. I must say, that I am very upset with my experience with this dealership, and I will be contacting the GM or Manager of service there to talk about this.
Terry Hines (Manager)-Made us feel @ home. VERY PATIENT (5 MONTHS BEFORE WE MADE DECISION). Didn't matter how many times we went back...gave us the Best Deal in Kansas and stuck to his word. WE GOT EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED AND BOUGHT TWO CARS FROM HIM. We even went back recently and bought another one. SERIOUSLY GO TO FIAT OF OLATHE YOU WON'T BE SORRY! WE LUV OUR FIATS!
We thought we had a deal on two - 2013 Fiats that were going to be used in our business. After receiving and signing the sales order yesterday, we receive an email from the sales manager, Terry Hines today informing us that they sold one of the cars we agreed to purchase. I called the sales manager to better understand why the car was sold since we had a agreement. He advised me that the sales order was not an agreement and they could sell the car to another person if they like. In addition, he said his General Manager told him to sell the car. A business is only as good as their commitments to their current and potential customers. In this case, Olathe Fiat failed to understand the importance of their commitment to a deal that was already done and the impact of their decisions on their customers life or business. From a customer service standpoint, Olathe Fiat gets a big "F"
Went in looking for some info on the new Fiat 500's, they were very helpful and answered any questions I may have had. After test driving a 500 Sport, I fell in love with the 500. I talked with Luke on Tuesday and he said he had off Wednesday but when I showed up, he was there to help me. The car I wanted they sold after I left, but he did find me another 500 Sport in a better color that I liked and bought it right then and there. Would recommend Fiat of Olathe to all my friends looking for a new Fiat. Best car I've ever owned to.
Went above and beyond to make my wife happy in the purchase of her new FIAT...We called ahead as we were driving from Missouri and spoke with Chance on the phone and asked him to hold the particular vehicle we were interested in. He happily did so and when we showed up my wife fell in love with the car. It was pretty obvious we were going to buy it but Chance still took the time to go over all the vehicles features with us. There was never any unwanted pressure and we felt right at home the whole time. I cannot express the gratitude we have with this dealership for making this interaction was easy and virtually painless. My wife and I have dreaded car shopping all of our days, and this place was so non-typical. I would recommend these guys to any of my friends or family.
I would NOT recommend FIAT OF OLATHE to any potential buyer. The customer service is literally missing after they make the "sale". At my closing/signing the salesman literally walked in in the signing unannounced and changed the terms of the sale and had me sign a waiver releasing him from his prior "promises". ....due to what he said was an oversight on his part ....two days later? !! I would highly recommend NOTHTOWNE FIAT of KANSAS CITY. There is a salesman there there by the name of Gabriel Rojas who truely knows his FIATs. ....and is a reputable salesman in my opinion. This is the dealership where I will be going to service the car which I bought off the lot at OLATHE FIAT . NORTTOWNE FIAT is where I will be buying my next FIAT ....for my daughter, this summer ,when she graduates fom college.
