Dont recommend going to this dealership for any service. I've had one oil change that was done incorrectly and had to go back a few weeks later to have the oil topped off due to low oil level. I've found various broken pieces of plastic around the air filter box and intake along with oil caps left in the engine bay. Then to top it all off I had a wheel bearing replaced a few months after I bought my used vehicle from them and I'm am now having the same bearing replaced 14 months later when all of the factory bearings on the other wheels are just fine and now they are refusing to warranty the part unless I drive it ( with an unsafe wheel bearing that has caused brake pressure issues while turning sharp left ) from the other dealer to theirs so they can work something out with me. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want to have your car in the shop most of its life.

The Jim Doran staff is great -- knowledgeable, professional and eager to help. The dealership was recommended by friends who bought their Subaru Forester there and they were very happy with Doran. I never thought I'd have a good time buying a car, but I did! I recommend the Doran team with 5 stars.

My wife and I purchased a new 2017 Subaru Legacy recently, and could not be happier with the overall experience. We requested an online quote from Lukas since we knew all the options we wanted. Lukas was very prompt with his bid which was very reasonable and a fair price. The other dealer representative's response at another dealership was "we will match any other bid you receive". Having spent my career as a salesman I very much resented that approach to making a sale. It just supported our decision to buy from Jim Doran in McMinnville. The salesman who met with us was Ricardo, The Mac Car Guy. Ricardo was very knowledgeable, patient and very personal with us. He gave us a very fair trade-in on our 2012 Legacy, and spent as much time as we needed covering all the new features of our new Legacy. For anyone looking for a Subaru I would strongly recommend going beyond the I-5 corridor to check out Jim Koran Subaru in McMinnville. We think you will be very happy with your car buying experience. I worked with Lukas & had a great experience buying a used car! My daughter went & test drove the car & I was able to negotiate a fair price over the phone from out of state. When I later was able to come to town to make the purchase for my daughter, the transaction was smooth & the process was painless. No "bait & switch", no up-sell tactics for stuff we didn't want, etc. Even though I was not buying the most expensive car on the lot, Lukas & his manager were courteous & extremely helpful.

Very pleasant experience, I expected the opposite from past experiences with dealerships. Tom, Demian and Steve are all very personable people, never felt pressured and didn't have to play a numbers game which I expected. We called Jim Doran Subaru and spoke to Demian Cratty about a particular Forester that interested us. He was informative and not "pushy" as other salesmen from various dealerships had been. When we asked if he could give us a better "deal" than the MSRP, he called back with a figure that was within our price range. So we drove to McMinnville to check out the Forester and found Demian had put it aside and was waiting to show it to us. I explained that I didn't want a salesperson who goes back and forth to his superiors for various prices while we wait. His response was, "I gave you a price over the phone and that's what it will be. If you like the car, the whole process will be very simple." Next we checked out the vehicle and my husband test-drove the car while Demian explained the Eye Sight capabilities. Wow! We were impressed. Thank you's to Demian and also Tim and Steve who completed the paperwork. Doran Subaru salespeople are knowledgeable, warm and made closing the deal so easy. We're smiling!
