Sales & Finance are outstanding, they go way above to help. Purchased 2nd new vehicle, very happy

Bought 3 new cars from this dealership in Victoria Texas. This is one of 2 we purchased brand new in 2022. A month or so ago the cruise control went out. Made an appointment to get it repaired, because it was still under warranty. They had trouble taking the steering column apart, saying the air bag might not work. They claimed someone took the steering column apart and tampered with it. Now they are telling us they repaired the cruise control switch, but they found other issues (metal filings in the steering column? Paint marks on the steering column?) and that they will not warranty it because of suspected tampering. When we asked multiple times if it was safe to drive, they would not say it was. Now they are telling us we have to come and pick up the unsafe car and sign a paper stating they are not responsible for anything that happens going forward. When we asked if they were accusing us of tampering with it, the manager said no. We are the only owners. Welcome to Mac Haik customer service. (reviews are abysmal and they tend to not honor warranties regularly) They still have our car.

This service dept is not worth a flip. A literal complete waste of my time! They have not been capable of replacing a recall for my vehicle for over a year now. People do work and can’t just miss work for the ridiculous xx they put you through. If you didn’t have my parts why make my appointment and allow me to leave my vehicle with you?? Glad I callled after a few hours of drop off to realize this absurd xx!

Horrible dealership to have a vehicle repaired at! Buyer beware of shady business practices and lack of knowledge to repair a vehicle!

I had an appointment at 9:00am, I arrived at 8:45am. My appointment started off by them telling me that they did not even have the tail light, even though I paid for it in advice and verified they had it over the phone, so I left and got half way home before they called me to say “whoops, our bad. We do have the part, please come back and we will get right on it”. The appointment was to fix one tail light and change my oil… they didn’t finish with my vehicle until 3:30pm. I was stuck at the dealership the whole time as I love to far away for their “shuttle service”. If you need work done on your vehicle, I would suggest going somewhere else, if you choose to bring it here, I would suggest bringing a tent and few MRE’s. Worst mechanic service I have ever experienced. I will never use Mac Haik again.

Salesman was very helpful trying to find us a truck on a lot somewhere. We even built one online, but with things the way they are, delivery of one was uncertain ( my thoughts), and I needed the truck sooner than later. Finance man knew his business.
