What Others Say

I would recommend this Dealership to all my family and friends. All of the employees were willing to assist me and find their co-worker.

I attempted to intervene on behalf of my young granddaughter that bought a car from them two years ago; only to learn from her insurance company that the car was disclosed at car auction as having a damaged frame. Swain just denied knowledge and refused to buy back the car for what was owed on it. Car will be repossessed because insurance is canceling coverage due to report of damaged frame. Swain told me that the reason insurance was being cancelled because of her driving record; because there had been 3 wrecks and my granddaughter had just taken the insurance money and not had the car fixed. Report did show minor accidents and only one required repairs..No insurance money was pocketed. They deny knowledge of damaged frame disclosure at auto auction stating that they depend on Carfax to make determinations as to car's damage. Disclosure was reported by Auto Check. Very interesting to read reports of comparisons between Carfax and Auto Check and it is reported that dealers will often use whatever report that fails to discuss the frame damage to support the sell off the vehicle. It is also interesting to note on this website that if dealer rater discovers that employees are rating their own companies, the dealership will be blacklisted. I found at least a couple 5 ratings by employees on the Swain Automotive reviews.

Great place to buy a nice vehicle staff was professional and courteous Greg was a super manager and the finance guy Alex was also a tremendous support Very clean place some of the finest in highest quality vehicles. Not damaged or lemons. Enjoyed driving some great vehicles

I purchased a car from this dealership about a month ago. They had not serviced the car at the time I purchased it, so within a few days I returned it to them to be serviced. It took them over a week to do something that absolutely could have been completed within 3 days. After I get the car back, the check engine light comes on and the heater is broken. I am about to spend $2000 to fix a car I just purchased because they are too incompetent to fix anything! They obviously lied about issues the car had as well. While my car was in their shop, they would never call me to tell me that the car wasn't going to be ready when they told me it would, so I ended up making multiple trips to the dealership only to find out that my car wasn't ready. They eventually gave me a loaner car to use- which the battery went dead in after a few hours. Very unprofessional. Do not buy a car from this dealership!!!

Swain treated my wife and I as if we had purchased from them before!! They added everything to the truck that I was wanting!!! Shannon was an awesome salesperson, she really knows her stuff!!! This is where my family and I will do business from now on!!!! # Bro Jarrod

I bought a 2008 Mercedes E350 AMG from Swain Automotive in July 2014. Supposedly, the car was in tip-top condition. Less than a week after I had it, I was on I-20 in Jackson, and the gas gauge dropped from almost half a tank to empty, the fuel light came on, and the car died in traffic. In October, I took the car to have the tires rotated after I heard them roaring. After the technicians removed the tires, I had to purchase a new set because the insides of the tires were showing wire, and the tires didn't match. The engine light has come on three times. I also noticed my truck was leaking heavily, so I pulled a Carfax on my car to learn that it has been wrecked THREE times, and Swain Auto didn't provide that information before I bought it. The wheels cannot be aligned, and the doors do not shut well. The brakes squeal horribly, and I have had them checked. The rotors and pads are good. After I discovered the car had been wrecked, I took it to a body shop to have it checked out. The technician told me my car looks like crumpled aluminum foil behind the back bumper, and the passenger back fender is nothing but bondo. I complained to Swain Auto, and they essentially said it is no longer their responsibility. They do not stand by their products! DO NOT buy from them!!!
