What Others Say

As other people have noted the only good thing about Diamond Suzuki is the price. I have had 4 other Suzuki's so I know they are good engines. I took my Sea Pro in January for a repower of a White 200 HP & was told it would take about 10 days to install so I called after 12 days & was told that was business days. I waited a week then called again after numerous calls I finally got Grant who told me they were backed up " Do to Covid". It would be another week. Then I was told I needed to upgrade the steering from Bay Star to Sea Star, another $2,000. Then after another week finally got Grant he said the White motor was damaged when they opened the crate. { More BS} So I said do you have a black one ?, oh yea I was told, so I said can you put that on NOW. After 6 weeks I finally go a call to pick up the boat. When I got there to pay for the motor Grant took for ever to appear. So I went to look over the install, I discovered a trailer light was broken off the trailer & a radio antenna was broken off the console. They installed a new tail light but never tested it didn't work for my 65 mile trip home. When I handed the radio antenna to Steve, I was just given a blank stare. When I got home I had to rewire the tail light then discovered the speed indicated no longer worked. The trim tabs worked when I brought the boat to them but didn't when I got it back, told by Steve they wear out sometimes. I've had Bennet trim tabs on other boats that lasted over 20 years. As it turn out I discovered the switch got corroded by sitting in the weather for 6 weeks with no cover. The speed indicated was also working but I was told by Steve he doesn't like water driven speed indicators, but when I bring to boat back in for service they would run the pickup tube to the console & adjust the tilt so the motor would NOT be in the water when tilted up. For my trouble he would discount the service from $335 to $275. WOW big discount? I bought Suzuki oil, filter & lower unit oil for $108 tax included. Yea it took me an hour & a half to do the service but I didn't have to waste a day driving 130 miles while they might get it done in a day? While doing the service I discovered 3 cowling bolts were missing so I called & asked them to send them to me. After being transferred 3 times I finally got the parts department who said it would take a week to 10 days to order the parts, {amazing a Suzuki dealer who doesn't have cowling bolts. Well it's bee a month. Now I'm told they need a picture of the bolts do they can order them. Really? Pay the extra money & go to a reputable dealer !!!

Was trying to repower my boat and was bombarded with a very rude irritated sales associate who got angry and a few simple questions on the motors themselves and hung up while I was mid sentence. I called Suzuki themselves and got all the answers I needed from them very nicely and left a complaint to them of the dealer (diamond Suzuki) Safe to say I will steer everyone I know away from this terrible situation and save them dealing with the terrible employee(s) that work there.

I'm from the north. The process is definitely different, but the out come is kick a**. Thank Tom Pelchan Grant Steve and crew. Extremely happy with the motor rigging and finished product marine

Grant is very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend. My husband and I are satisfied and will return if we need anything in the future.

Grant was very helpful , professional and attentive, extremely knowledgeable in motors, staff/ service was very professional and knowledgeable as well. Had an awesome experience Thankyou diamond motors and marine

Will never do business with them. Grant was not helpful in any of the many calls, made us feel like we were a bother in interrupting him. No call backs, no follow up no cares. I understand that busy is busy but where is the customer service. Saturday I told him forget it I will shop elsewhere. AND I DID! Now my wife and I are happy owners of a NEW 2021 115. Diamond Suzuki is NOT Diamond Customer Service and I do NOT recommend!
