AI Helped Me Find 400 Cars—But Only One Caleb So, you know you need a (new-to-you) car. You've got a budget that says “practical” and a few must-haves like “starts when you turn the key.” A couple of nice-to-haves sneak in too—because heated seats feel like a warm hug in February. You plug it all into an AI tool, and boom: 400+ vehicles appear within 50 miles. Suddenly, your search becomes less “wow!” and more “why?” After a month of virtual shopping, I began meeting used car salespeople IRL. Turns out, unlike the AI, humans have personalities. Some are genuinely helpful; others treat you like a commission check with legs. Dave Christianer did a fantastic job. We didn't know a lot about the Canyon , but heard very good things and we loved the way it looked. In about 3 hours we made the deal and drove our new truck home. We love our new Canyon. Dave made the process very simple with no pressure at all.
