What Others Say

On July 7th at 9:00 a.m. after a very busy July 4th weekend, the service desk at this dealership greeted me like I was their only customer in the midst of a very busy morning with people everywhere and rollbacks showing up with vehicles on them. I have a black Durango RT which overheated and was dropped off to their lot unbeknownst to them and they treated me like they had known me their whole life. They have no idea who I am or who my family is and how many vehicles we have but they treated us with the utmost respect and it is very hard to find especially this time of year on a busy beach. If you ever have any problems with your vehicles, bring it here. And if you are looking to buy a car or truck don't bother shopping out of town. Stop right here at kdh Dodge!

We made the first mistake of purchasing a manual 2021 Mohave Gladiator, clutch gave overheat error the first time out on the beach. We had just had the recall done 2 weeks prior at another dealer. We took it to this dealer, and he said the clutch needed replacement. We called Mopar Headquarters, and were told it was under warranty- this dealer said he was not honoring the Mopar warranty and wanted $2800 to replace it. We said no, had it towed to dealer that did recall. The dealer in Midlothian, ran diagnostic and said there was nothing wrong with the clutch. There was another customer there with the same vehicle, he had brought his in 4 times with an emergency brake problem, they were telling him he had to pay for it as well. Would recommend steering clear of this dealer.

I lost my key to my 2014 Jeep Patriot I called and they told me they had NO keys and it would be over a week to get one. Previously I had a 1998 Dakota with which I had a problem AGAIN THEY COULD OR WOULD NOT help me. I ended up getting both a key and my Dakota fixed at Carolina Jeep/Dodge Ram of Elizabeth City

If I could give these guys a thousand stars; I would. My son graduated high school this year and with senior tradition, planned a trip with a great group of athletes at the beach to celebrate before all parting ways to different colleges. At ten o’clock on Friday night, I got a call that I never want to get with my son profusely apologizing and in tears that he wrecked his Jeep and it wasn’t drivable and completely panicked about money and having to be out of the beach house rental the next day. He googled the nearest shop to have it towed and prayed they would be able to get him running the next day which we knew would take a miracle not only for them to have the correct parts but the time to do it in one day on top of our tight budget. I specifically did not want him to go to a dealership as I had previously had two very bad experiences with the dealership which is closest to our home where we purchased it. The shop which we had the Jeep towed was not helpful in the least and his friends had to drive him around to five other shops unsuccessfully before I felt defeated and told him I was calling the closest dealership and I knew it would be the most expensive option however him being safe and staying calm was priceless to me when I couldn’t get there. A gentleman named Tyler answered my call and I told him I knew that it was a long shot what I was going to ask of him and I still didn’t even know if it was going to be possible for him to make it the whole way due to internal leaks and possible breaks but minimally I needed a rim and tire and his spare put on for him and by this time it was 11 am and they closed at 2. Very long shot for this to be pulled off. But they did. They had a rim with tire mounted and delivered and put on by 1; went over the worst case scenarios of what could happen with him driving home as there were bigger issues that his accident caused but nothing that could be fixed that day of course. They not only put my sons car together for him to drive in an extremely unrealistic amount of time but also cut me the biggest deal financially which was something I never expected but appreciated more than words could describe. In the back of my head while my bill was being totaled, I was honestly racking my brain as to how I was going to come up with the money as I know tires and rims are not cheap nor is labor at a dealership. I’m a single mom and this is my second son that I somehow managed to get through high school graduation and into college so money is always tight however through all of the chaos of a 24 hour period, when I couldn’t be there beside my son handling everything, my son was blessed with a life lesson of “adulting” which is never easy yet goodness always comes back to good people and my son had a group of kids surrounding him and helping him as well as true hero’s in my book, taking time they didn’t have to help a kid out that truly deserved it. And I will absolutely be vacationing down there when I get a few days off to personally thank them and treat them to lunch.

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THIS DEALERSHIP, NICK WAS VERY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS, WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VEHICLE I RECOMMEND OUTER BANKS CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE

My husband lost the keys to our van and we had to wait for our new keys to come in the mail we had to get it towed to the dealership it was 3:00 p.m. we tell them that the battery is dead for some reason give them the keys to be cut and programmed. 2 hours go by I call they say the battery is dead we don't have enough time to do it today we are all going home at 5. Seriously we are locals been here our whole lives, you can not wait 10 minutes to program our keys. they acted like they didn't know we told them battery was dead I am truly disappointed I will not be back I will not recommend anyone and I will continue to tell all my customers how we were treated... The worst customer service I have ever had in my life, and I know customer service...
