Sooooo angry. We thought we did the right thing. Took car to dealer for a oil leak. They said we needed rear brakes. No oil leak. ( it is but ok). They Fixed brakes this was Friday AM. Today husband and I drove 1 1/2 to festival. Upon entering hwy leaving the festival. The car loses brakes. We are stuck on ramp to hwy. No brakes. I am so grateful husband is driving But so mad. If I was driving 😤. No brakes. Apparently they did not put on or tighten bolts. Usually I am driving with grandson. I would have panicked. Now I am with out my car since sat afternoon it’s Monday eve and not fixed. I work. This is beyond unexceptionable for a dealerships service dept. brakes. You just don’t do brakes wrong. I took pictures to show them it had no bolts. UPDATE. Bob Has corrected the problem apologized and refunded funds . I am to say that makes me feel better. as he was very concerened
Told by salesman Ryan and a conversation with GM, Jerrod, dealership would stand behind a used 2012 JeepLiberty. As a US Marine, integrity and character are important. A man’s word not what it used to me. When I reached out with invoice and a video, selected amnesia set in. “No I do not recall that conversation.” So sad. I would not trust buying a used car from this dealership. Sadly, $600-$800 would break the dealership. WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS with this group.
Went out of the way to make the deal work. Very pleased with results. Sam made the back and forth so easy will definitely shop R.W. again
Daron was very patient and really listened to what I was looking for in a car. He was a lot of fun to talk to and would be the only one I’d go to for me next car purchase
I have purchased 3 automobiles from Rusty Wallace, and several members of my family have purchase from there over the years as well. On my 3rd (and what will be my last purchase from this dealer) I still can not account for $1000 on the "out the door" price verbally given to me verses the actual price I paid on the sales invoice. Only 10 days after the dealership got their check, the AC compressor went out. I understand that I purchased a used car, and was not looking for a free repair, but they wouldn't even return my call to talk about what had happened. I left several messages, and even ask their service department (who charged me $150 just to tell me it was the AC compressor) to have the sales manager to please call me. My SUV also ended up having issues with the headlights (wiring) which the mechanic that repaired them said should have been noticed by the dealer during an inspection. The salesperson told me that the car had "brand new brakes" but I ended up replacing all of them. I was also told the front axels were replaced when I purchased this SUV. Found out later from my mechani that was was ANOTHER lie told to me by the unprofessional sales manager at Rusty Wallace!! I have spent thousands in repairs on this lemon! When I finally heard from the sales manager who called to talk to me rudely because I left him a bad review, he laughed at me when I told him all the troubles with my car and how I'd had no service after the sale. He told me "that's what you get when you buy a car that old" Nice attitude! My 3rd purchase from this dealer will be my last purchase here!
