I had taken my vehicle to your store on MLK Blvd for a rough idle on October 14th, 2025. I talked with service manager Kevin Cox and told him I’d like the diagnostic for why the car was idling rough and he told me that would be a $175 fee for the diagnostic. A few hours later I was sent a text message listing everything they noticed with the car. I called and retold him I only wanted the issue regarding the idle repaired. He listed several things that could be the culprit and told me there were also a few oil leaks that needed repair. I agreed to the oil leaks and other items to resolve the idle issue. When picking up my vehicle I paid $2123.77. I was shocked at the expense, but if it was resolved I would be satisfied. Upon starting the car, it was still idling rough. I went inside and complained to Kevin Cox. He told me that the car was “very dirty” and acted like the issue was my fault. This car has had oil changes every 3,000 miles and the larger 75k and other regular maintenance has been done at Jeep dealerships, so that seemed ridiculous. The car is only used for regular street driving and is in very good physical condition. It has never been in an accident or given me any other type of issues. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager recommended I leave the car so it could be inspected and diagnosed correctly. The next day I was told the engine mounts needed repair and was given and additional $1600 bid, which they told me was a “courtesy” as it normally would cost more. I decided to drive my car to a private mechanic since I didn’t believe them or the diagnostics at this point. It was easy for the private mechanic to test that the engine mounts were fine and didn’t need repair.
They are very patient and kind. They worked with me for over 3months to help find the vehicle I wanted
Dakota was great. Helped to get us a great deal. Answered all our questions about how the computer system works and then assisted in learning about the computer in our new Durango. Made our purchase fun with no stress.
The appointment was easy and fast with friendly people. Also easy to understand all the recommendations!
Everyone was very attentive. Acknowledged me as soon as i walked in, and showed me the person I was waiting for.
Great experience at Lithia CDJ. Job well done by all hands. One of the best car buying experiences we've had. Josh did an awesome job over the phone in answering every one of our questions prior to us making the drive to Eugene from Bend.
