This dealership shams people regularly from what I’ve seen. Unfortunately my wife and I fell victim to shady practices. They have what they call a fifty fifty warranty for 30 days. However, be skeptical I had my wife’s car checked by a dealership that we’ve used for five plus years (Suttle Motors) fantastic peoples but anyways turns out they told us the Cadillac we bought at heritage had a differential leak and recommended a reseal at a price of about a grand. Cool called Heritage Motors was told to bring it to them their Mechanic who is on their salary hmmm would check it. Their mechanic claimed there was no leak it was old dried up oil and they wiped it off everything good to go. I looked under the car and saw what look like a leak they claimed it was brake fluid from cleaning the old stuff off. Took it back to my Technician at Suttle who put it on the lift and had me walk back and guess what there’s a leak. No surprise needless to say Heritage expected me to trust their Mechanic who lied said there was no issue to fix the car or they wouldn’t cover anything. Cool wife and I handled it out one grand but at least we can afford it and the work will be done right. Stay clear of this dealership unless you have the money for repairs because there will be repairs. We had the car a day and found this issue…
This was probably the best car buying experience I ever had I talked to Ms Toni Price she was absolutely fabulous she talked to me any time I texted her and answered all my questions and she was cool as xxxx even on the test drive and I drive kinda crazy on a test drive and she was super quick with the paperwork which was great I was in there about an hour and half Preciate ya Ms. Toni Price
They Sold me a Car with a broken transmission, they claimed that it was a syncro problem and are unable to get them in and I contacted the owner and his response to prior mehcnaics checking the car out was that its invalid and that a brand new transmission would cost $26,000. This is a phoney buisness and they have zero customer respect. DO NOT SHOP HERE,
-Still I am unable to know anything about my car and they just tell me if I take them to court they would win.
My experience with this dealership was great. They seem to be smaller, "boutique" shop with no-nonsense pricing. There were minimal fees, and no upsells to an "extended" warranty or unnecessary add-ons ("undercoating"), which was great.
They were quick to setup a pre-purchase inspection with a local private shop that specializes, and their assessment of the car matched that of the shop. Branden coordinated a loan with the local credit union with a very competitive rate, and even picked me up from the airport late on a Saturday after my flight was canceled. All in a positive experience for a very clean car, exactly as described.
Rodney came in on Sunday, office is normally closed, so that I could test drive a car I found online. Ended up buying different car as Rodney patiently went through inventory until the right car was located. Finance person also came in on Sunday to process paperwork. Customer service was above and beyond expectations!
STAY AWAY. Deception, Bed Bugs, shady used car dealer tricks, Heritage Motors has it all
I purchased a Porsche from them in October and was extremely disappointed in the transaction. I will save you from all the details but below are the serious issues faced in the first day. As a remote buyer in Texas, I informed them I would be driving the car 1200 miles home, and needed to rely on Toni's description of the condition of the car.
-Kept my deposit: I provided my credit card to hold the car until the check arrived from my bank, they charged the deposit even after receiving the check which was overnighted..
-Bed bugs: Arriving home I found bed bugs climbing around the interior, disgusting!
-Bad Alignment: Passenger side tire filled to 60psi, all the others were 35 psi, after removing the extra air in that tire, now the car pulls to the right. This is an old trick to make a car drive straight, covering up a bad alignment.
-Major engine vacuum leak, Toni claimed their mechanic repaired before I left, in fact I paid more for the car because of the repair. Unfortunately I discovered a massive vacuum leak I temporarily repaired in a parking lot, I saw no evidence of any previous repairs..
-Couldn't pass TX inspection: I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get it to pass TX inspection, not sure how this thing passed VA inspection..
I have spent $2000 so far on getting this thing into driveable condition, and while I did have a mechanic inspect the vehicle prior to purchase, and we identified many of the major mechanical issues including the vacuum leak, Heritage Motors deception of the vehicle condition is extremely disappointing. I spoke with the GM Chase after arriving home and asked that they assist with making the vacuum leak right by providing the parts, he declined.
Oh yea it also ran out of oil on the side of the highway. Maybe broken down, hood up at the side of the road is part of the Heritage Motors experience!
