I purchased a 2014 Chevy equinox from Kunes in Morrison, Illinois, I had nothing but problems with it the day I drove it off the lot. After 4 months of calling and asking for help or get me in another car they finally helped me get into another car. I spoke with the GM and he was able to help me get a different car, after getting my new car I received a letter from my loan company that they sent me a check to the dealership for balance owed to me on my Chevy equinox that I had returned. The dealership was to call me when they received my check. They called me and said that my check was there and they needed me to come in and sign it over to them because that check needed to go towards the down payment on my new car, so before going over to the dealership I called my loan company and asked them if that was what the check was for, they said no! I already had a down payment with my trade in, so the check was mine to do whatever I wanted with it. So my fiancé and I went to kunes in Morrison Illinois and sat down with the sales guy and he told me I had to sign over the check to him, he passed me the check face down across the desk, I picked up the check and looked at it and handed it to my fiancé. My fiancé told him that I was not saying it over to them that it was mine and was made out to me. We got up and walked out of the office and the sales guy chased out into the lobby yelling you need to give that check back it’s not yours and than saying he was going to call the cops. My fiancé told him to go ahead and call, the cops would see the check was made out in my name for me. So we left and didn’t get the cops called on us and never heard from kunes in Morrison Illinois again. So basically they were trying to take my $900 check for themselves, never again will I deal with kunes in Morrison Illinois Bill Bart - general manager Greg Roberts - sales Josh Morales - sales Be very careful if you go to this place, they rip you off and lie to you, they only want the sale for their Commission, after you drive off the lot they don’t care what happens. Josh Morales is the sales guy who threatened to call the cops on us and try to take my $900 check.
I am very disappointed in this dealership. My oil change went from 85.00 to $121.00. The excuse was Chrysler wants Chrysler oil in my Jeep. I should get to choose my oil and I shouldn’t get charged for something I didn’t want. My car ran just fine in GM oil. I’m frustrated, I need to find someplace I can trust! Someplace that will put the customer before the car/oil manufacturers! Customer service should be the priority!
Terrible service. Called them on 09/08, talked to Tianna, she assured me the vehicle will be at hte Morrison il location on Saturday in the morning. Drove 2 hours to them just to find out that vehicle is not there. They had an excuse that vehicle is at their Macomb, il location. Called their Macomb, il location, talked to Andy and was told that vehicle is still on transit from the factory and it will take a week or two to get to them. They deliberately lied knowing that don't even have the vehicle available. Wasted 4 hours of my time. They don't even deserve one star

I came in with low hopes on getting a trade. Bad credit. Financial issues. Chris helped getting all the info and helped me pick a car. Mike got me a great loan on a great car. Low intrest rate and almost no down payment. How he did that i have no idea. Josh he wrapped it all up and finished all the paperwork and talked about all the bell whistles. Chris even took the time to show me how to use all the new fancy features my new car has. Was a great experience here. Ive been telling everyone how great it was here and if they need any kind of vehicle this is the place to go.
Faith was amazing and worked harder than any other sales personnel to make my deal happen. When Mt.Carroll said no Faith said yes!
